nice work! g l
inspired by anne rice's child vampire "claudia" in "Interview with a Vampire" where the vampire Lestat had turned a young girl into a vampire.
This is my rendition, using my own stock photo of a young boy.

nice work! g l
Very impressive work!
Spooky! He seems dangerous in his youth.
Nice job! Just one suggestion: put some shading on the eyeballs.
Very impressive work. Good handling of the liquify tool. Personally I would have left a bit more of the original skin colour show through, especially with the very strong eye colour, but it's awesome work.
I like this alot!!.. good work.
Very cool source image to start with.
changed the shadowing in the eyeballs...also added some bloodshot veins.
Sorry, but i like the deep contrast of the desaturated skin and the saturated eyes, so i'm not changing that. But thank you for the suggestion, and the amazing compliment, widiar. This was a fun contest.
and yes, skeletor, i've got some great reserves of stock images for just weirdness. Thank you.
And Erikuri, Nator, Heinrich and neeraj55 ...Thank You so much for the compliements!
erikuri....he is a bit evil at times.
incredible work!
Fabulous work author, amazing face expression...best of luck
Very scary - well done!
awesome!
Now this is wicked-cool!! Reminds me of "Lost Boys" vampire boy. Your details and additional features of making an immortal creature of the night are exceptional. Well done and GL!
Can you see I've seen a lot of vampire movies???
Incredible!
Thank you all so much for such wonderful comments on this. I had a lot of fun...and my crazy model is really happy with the nice things you've all said. He's quite proud of his evil self.
Great! Looks really mad.
Congratulations!
Congrats for your second...
So glad to see this is one of the deserving entries, placing so high. Congrats!

Nice one!
sigh.. I want his hair
Great painting, but poor guy,3 eyes and only one working...best of luck author...
Seems a little MSU (minimal source used.) I think you could have incorporated more of the original source into the clothing or at least the shoulder connectors, IMHO.
Your drawing skills are getting better and better. Keep going.
lol good job and great idea.

Used stamp to get rid of rock. Dropped sea level and gave more clouds.
The source image was blurry, I kept trying to make it a bit sharper but not really sure of a good way to do it.
Thanks to SEPpics@sxc.hu (5 years and 3510 days ago)
Nice blend
great work author...best of luck
The children are blended nicely, but the duplication of the clouds takes my attention away from the nice blending of the kids.

Your Wikipedia link does not provide much insight into what the Cauldron-Born might look like, but it does reveal that you left out the hyphen. The graphic black-and-white-with-red-accents image is quite dramatic. The odd earing thing would be more compelling as blood oozing from his ear canal, however. And the cheek drip has an inexplicable aspect as well.
totally different and damn cool...great job author
"Blood" looks like plastic...
I honestly love this one. It has some "plastic-y" looking elements to it, however I kind of feel like that might have been the author's intention?
I do agree with Dan about having the blood at the ear coming out of the ear canal, but that's a personal preferance for me. Finally, I love how the eyes were done, they're really strange and it thoroughly creeps me out.
Good job, in my opinion. And good luck!
Wow he's got Pac Man's eyeballs
it is creepy. i like all of it but the eyeballs..
but you definitely put your own style into this contest.
