the problem with the tree is that it is the only thing that looks pasted on... all the rest of the image looks great! a little more work on the tree is needed. i suggest you try to match the color of the tree t the rest of the image. you can do this by going to IMAGE > ADJUSTMENTS > MATCH COLOR. Make sure you have your tree layer selected, duplicate it, than do the match color. Match the color to the main background image, by selecting it form the drop boxes at the bottom of the dialog box that comes up. using the sliders adjust the settings till the tree matches the rest a little more.
(5 years and 2849 days ago)Looks fantastic, even tho the high res version doesn't look that high.
(5 years and 2851 days ago)lovelly colors and atmosphere! the blue to orange sky gradient work really well here. i'm not thats sure about the tree up front but other than that its lovelly
(5 years and 2851 days ago)Really great!
(5 years and 2855 days ago)Just, for me, the "treestructure" on the left jumps a bit out; the dark shadow is a bit to hard compared to the building and the blending of the tree is not "yeah!". The tree you can easily solve by adding shadows to the leaves and with the use of a very small blur brush (say 3 pixels), make a new top layer and select all layers, and go over the edges of the leaves that will give you a better blending.
As a personal touch (what I would do that is ) is making the image a bit bigger at the bottom and emphasize the bare rocks a bit more, IMHO that will attract the attention more on the beautiful sky you've used. But that's what I would do, please don't do it if you don't want to: it's in the end your work and that's how it should be
One more thing: I see you have to credit the author of source 3: just add "thanks to vivekchugh" in your link to that source
could have been better if you put some glowing light behind that gate. but i love the scene... ! goodluck author
(5 years and 2876 days ago)Very nice piece...dramatic...gl
(5 years and 2877 days ago)spooky - excellently done - nice tonal range - good color
(5 years and 2954 days ago)A bit too dark around her feet and along the left hand edge, but a wonderful contrast of shapes.
(5 years and 2956 days ago)It's fantastic. I like it a lot.
(5 years and 2956 days ago)I'm in love with it o.O mesmerizing
(5 years and 2957 days ago)Great use of my countryman Ramon Conde's sculpture, good luck!
(5 years and 2957 days ago)Great lighting and shadow consistency. Well done.
(5 years and 2958 days ago)Very beautiful scene, great mood and colors.
(5 years and 2959 days ago)Too dark, it's hard to make out what use of the contest source there is.
(5 years and 2961 days ago)Love the message and colors
(5 years and 2967 days ago)I loved the work in general, the colors and surrealism. Well done!
(5 years and 2969 days ago)Not bad, but the hi-res image isn't any bigger.
(5 years and 2969 days ago)The context of image is awesome. Great Work
(5 years and 2970 days ago)I like the mood and the idea author..GL

Very cool!
(5 years and 2971 days ago)Love the spooky blue and the evil smiles of the pumpkins
(5 years and 3064 days ago)A step-by-step would have been nice
(5 years and 3065 days ago)Would love to have seen an SBS for this ... great image!
(5 years and 3067 days ago)The bird and the pumpkins are too dark for the very bright lighting of the image. The bird should show some back lighting glow, and the pumpkins should have some light on the top, not just be black shapes with eyes. Also, if the ground is so illuminated, why is the back and the ground behind the woman so dark? She is not under the edge of a tree or building, and the light appears to extend at least to the trees in the far background, so having everything turn "instantly" dark when it reaches her is a bit far-fetched, rather than "moody."
(5 years and 3068 days ago)suggestions:
(5 years and 3069 days ago)1) eagle smaller maybe better
2) add a sparkle on the blade
nice...
it's PERFECT now!
(5 years and 3069 days ago)I guess the knight on the right (brighter one) will win
Lovely
(5 years and 3070 days ago)if no time, suggest just crop off the boat, the image will still look good
(5 years and 3070 days ago)Interesting. More yellow than orange to my eye, however. The twin monumental St. Stephen sculptures make the small, unexpectedly unstaffed boat (surprisingly white in the very yellow light BTW) boat seem out of place. Actually, the boat seems oversized for the setting. With all the intense background light, the light on the front side of the statues seems odd.
(5 years and 3071 days ago)the boat is distracting....
(5 years and 3071 days ago)title should be "the duel"... more appropriate?
anyway, with the boat out of the picture, I will love it more
Beautiful!
(5 years and 3071 days ago)This is really well done. Too bad there is no high res to view. MossyB makes a point about that building on the left. Perhaps skew it to the left a bit...and you're done! Nice job!
(5 years and 3179 days ago)EDIT: Looks
The building on the LH side has a decided off-kilter lean to it, and the frontmost building on the right tilts strangely into the water (perspective is inconsistent with the rest of the buildings - the parallel lines are off).
(5 years and 3179 days ago)Also, your lighting is too narrow scoped, with a spotlight effect - the buildings on the right have shadows on the opposite side of the buildings on the left. The sun is far enough from our planet, (assuming that's where this is located), that the light is far more encompassing, and shadows are consistently on the same side in a scene such as this...
super cool moody work...gl author
(5 years and 3180 days ago)Pretty cool. I like it a lot - but wouldn't there be reflections in the water for the eyes?
(5 years and 3180 days ago)nice mood

(5 years and 3281 days ago)where is the owl?
(5 years and 3281 days ago)Wow!! my fav!!!!! GL!
(5 years and 3281 days ago)Congrats !!!
(5 years and 3283 days ago)Great image,my friend....I like the concept and color. But IMO, the picture of the owl is less so in contrast with the color of its surroundings. So at first glance, people do not immediately recognize the existence of these owls. GL.
