I agree with Drivenslush, looks much better with the new background!
(5 years and 1363 days ago)WOOT WOOT WOOT.. easy peasy fix and it is much better than before. Glad I waited to vote so I could give it a much better rating. Wonderful thinking all round
(5 years and 1363 days ago)WOW! Kudos for most excellent photo realism. Looks like an actual photograph for real! Old school photochopping. I love it!
(5 years and 1363 days ago)LOL @ 48 % dolphin free. I just saw that. hehe
Author the link for the background is the download link. You should always use the link for the page that shows the image and the license/usage terms for that image. You did that for the jar and you should use this link for the background:

Remember the label must be entirely created by yourself and you have to add an SBS showing that you did that. You only have to show the original label you created not all of the steps.
Author, making the background (plaid) is pretty easy peasy, just draw one long thin rectangle and repeat the hell out of it spacing the apart. then merge the line pattern, repeat and then rotate 90 degrees and place on top with your choice of filter to create the Plaid. The sea turtle label can be made with a simple drawn shape with text. You have two days so it won't be that big of a stretch. Turtle Butter? EWWWW.. hehehe. hope you have time to fix this.. it's a neat idea
(5 years and 1364 days ago)CMYK46 is quite correct, you will have to replace source 1 and 3 with art that you created yourself. You should make the correction as soon as possible before the contest moderator sends you a warning.

(5 years and 1364 days ago)5.6. 3D Renders or Illustrations as Source:
Using other people's 3D renders or illustrations (even with permission and no matter in which form they are offered) creates a false impression of your artwork. So 3D renders or illustrations can not be used as sources, unless they are entirely created by yourself. Only acceptable non-illustration brushes and clip art may be used, but you need to mention them as a source too. Don't use an image that has been altered by the source owner nor an entire work created by someone else.
It's against PETA... hehe
(5 years and 1364 days ago)Looks like an alien. Nature is weird.
(5 years and 1387 days ago)WOO HOO... all fixed, great job author
(5 years and 1388 days ago)The figures are still too large compared to the scale of the background image.
(5 years and 1388 days ago)I'm glad the Wikipedia image worked for you, boosting the saturation was a good idea, looks good to me!
(5 years and 1388 days ago)The source for the foam is okay and the link will suffice for the attribution required. That site has an unusual way to handle images but the link does show the license and the origin of the image.
Technically a link showing the image with the author's name and information about the image is enough to satisfy the attribution requirements. I like to use the text for the link to include the author's name even if no attribution is required. I feel it's the polite thing to do.
ANYWHO.. great job again, and keep up the good work (Spaceranger is Awesome to get help from if you have any questions.. just don't stand over the curious square in front of his desk... it's all rumor, but it's best to be careful)
(5 years and 1388 days ago)hehehe, Author, Welcome to the wonderful world of photoshop competition (you have been given a right smack bottom BY EVERYBODY) Including me (and I'm super sweet, just like a corpse flower )and a Mod (Just kidding, but don't test them, I've heard they have a dungeon that they use to place bad Photoshoppers in listening to Justin Bieber Songs on a loop and you're only allowed to watch interviews with Paris Hilton on TV... but that's all rumor).
(5 years and 1388 days ago)Actually, with the depth of comments on your entry, that usually means we all see A LOT of talent and just want to steer you in the right direction so you can have a finished product that is truly yours and can be used publicly and privately. (Those copyright laws can really nip you in the butt as well as gallery managers who require you to "Prove" your work, not to mention uppity Disney Lawyers who have more money than God and get all bent out of shape because you used the same color scheme as the Hulk Sleeping Bag they sell in WalMart and they just want to "INFORM" you to watch yourself.
The image of the town has been altered by the owner and is Copyright: Boris Stroujko. The image is available from shutterstock however manipulated images are not permitted as sources on Pixeleyes. You'll have to replace it with an acceptable source.
(5 years and 1389 days ago)This similar image is found on Wikipedia: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Rothenburg_BW_4.JPG and can be used. Compare it to the image you used: http://www.his-j.com/kix/europe/img/area/germany/mainbox_min01_large.jpg and you can see how the color was enhanced a great deal. Only minor adjustments made to the original source image is acceptable, not an extensive color enhancement.
The image of the foam is acceptable using a CC license: http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ requiring attribution be given.
You'll have to make these changes or the Contest Moderator will send you a warning and your entry will be removed until it has been corrected.
Author, you also need a source for the foam overflowing the stein. It's not in the stock photo provided. Also take a look at the scale of the figures...they're giants compared to the background image.
(5 years and 1389 days ago)Good to see your sources author. But I'm afraid you can't use the Pre Drawn Illustration (The Badge on Stein) You can't use drawings by other people as part of your work. Don't worry, Spaceranger and the other mods will be happy to help you. It wouldn't be that big of a lost because the over all chop is excellent. Great job. ...and really neat work. The Lederhosen and the legs are hysterical. Great thinking.

(5 years and 1389 days ago)Author you're going to have to show the purchase of this photo (the link above is the source of the two people). You must also include where you got the back ground. (I couldn't find that one). Good luck, it's a fun idea.
(5 years and 1389 days ago)Please post your source links, and read http://www.pxleyes.com/guidelines/photoshop/
