This is a special shot! Very nice one...
(5 years and 3022 days ago)This is a wonderful photo. Talk about being in the right place at the right time! Did you have to wait long to capture this moment, and was it "luck" that you found this subject, or had you been aware of it, and just waiting for it to mature?
(5 years and 3024 days ago)You've captured a miraculous moment very well.
With a body that large, I can understand why he (or she) would be worn out...lol! Beautiful color range, but the focus is a bit too high - the edge of the wing closest to the viewer is blurry.
(5 years and 3024 days ago)Now that's different, well done.
(5 years and 3024 days ago)love the light
(5 years and 3138 days ago)yeah, when i look at this and i cross my eyes, it remains looking flat, not 3D... (i feel silly asking this) are you sure you took 2 pictures, and if you did, are you sure you didnt just use one of them and shift it??? theres nothing 3D here
(5 years and 3145 days ago)Author, take a shot with all your weight on your left foot, then take the same shot, without moving your camera from your face, but instead, shift all your weight to your right foot. This gives enough 'shift' in the images to effect a good stereo image.
(5 years and 3149 days ago)To get the 3D effect you take a photo and then move the camera like an inch or 2 to the right or left and try to take a similar shot as your first photo. The 3D effect only works if theres 2 similar but different photos. If they are identical (even if you just cropped them) your eyes will just merge them back together and it'll produce the 2D original photo rather than a 3D shot.
(5 years and 3150 days ago)This appears to be the same image cropped two different ways, there is no perspective change at all and one side matches the other perfectly when the two are aligned. It is viewable as a stereograph but being that it is the same image there is zero depth.
(5 years and 3150 days ago)I like his "teddy bear"
(5 years and 3157 days ago)author, you must be new to pxleyes: we all know water droplets are kyricom's phobia - I think it can also be called "pure envy"
