IMHO, it would have been a better shot if it wasn't cut in 2 equal parts. As here, the theme is "bubble", you should have tried to show (by using the rules of thirds) 2/3 of water and only 1/3 of sky.

Moderators are right, you don't have the correct point of view ... To follow the "theme" of this contest, it might have been better to take this picture from below the fruit, not from above. Like this it's like everyone should take a picture, only with a zoom for instance. We don't fell like a small liliput when we look at your picture.

You should try another shot just to have a focus point somewhere. Even if sometimes blur is nice, here, I don't think it adds something to your picture.

The picture is nice but I think you shoul have keep the colours because in turning the picture into B/W, they are both ... "grey". The contrast between the two persons is not really emphasized.
