Increase contrast & dodge the highlights on her face to make them "pop up" from the rest of your photo(after increasing contrast you might loose some of the face...)IMHO!!!
That way you'll have a fantastic low key photo.
I just tried it.
Open your photo in PS.
Image/Adjustments/Levels/Preset/Increase contrast 3
Then select the dodge tool.
Range:highlights/Exposure 55%
Done...!!!!

Great angle, good composition and lighting, colour and details are bang on here. Great work!

Nice capture with a curiously entertaining angle and subject. Some feathers on the top of the head are a little hot from the direct sunlight. but a fine capture just the same.

A fine looking specimen, however the shadow lines from the cage or wire don't do your subject any justice. The white chest feathers are also a bit washed out (over exposed). Good placement in frame though.
