The noise was a good "selling point" when I looked at your final image vs the sources. The background was relatively noise free as well as most of the fish. The cat scene and that bending fish were chock full of noise. You took care of that and balanced it well in your final image as you said. And to me, cutting out all the frilly stuff on the seahorse and jelly fish is a plus as not everyone does that.

Ahh... the Na Pali coastline. One of the most beautiful places on earth. This is on the island of Kau'a'i. The "Okinas" (this thing ---> ')are a "glottal stop" which would be the same thing as the dash in "uh-oh". It helps with pronunciations. So, Kau'a'i is pronounce "cow-ah-ee". Hawaiian is actually easy to read and write. It looks funny to most, but is like 10,000 easier to spell than English. I could teach someone how to spell perfect Hawaiian in like an hour. It would take years and years and years to learn to spell perfect English.

VERY nice composite. Well done. The plants are extracted very well and that doesn't look easy. Good shadows on the grass under the bench. Fish are cut out perfectly. Nice overall temperature. Fantastic color matching. I'm impressed. I never vote till after the deadline for entries because people may make changes, but I can't wait to find out who made this.

Oooh you did it. The bird has more depth now and doesn't look so flat. Pretty simple huh? Make sure to use Clipping Masks when doing this so that the darks get painted only on your subject.

A lovely bird. I am sure you meant for the bird to be in harmony with its friend the butterfly. However, I am imagining the bird is hunting and then eating the butterfly 2 seconds later.

If you want to add depth to flat piece of stuff, sometime brushing some darker colors along the edges can work. Generally use a soft brush and a few layers of brushing with the darker brushing on top and getting lighter as you go down. I did this very roughly, very fast, and very sloppy to at least get a rough idea. Sometimes Normal, Multiply, Overlay, etc work well.

Nice photos you used. That old man in the boat is really a nice source to use. Everything blends well. I like the whole Photoshop but the man's face somehow got blurry.

I use the latest version. It's just a silly Fire Filter. 1st time I used it. It's under Filter > Render > Flame. It may come in handy later though. I coulda downloaded something that looked like that portal stuff, but I wanted to keep it all source.

PS is only A$14.29/mo or $10 USD/mo. If you wanna research it and can't get that price, let me know. CS6 and you are able to do what you do... impressive.
