It does not need to be a huge file. The file that you uploaded already is probably fine. What you see in the contest is a down-sized version (for faster loading), but to really see the photo properly, you need to see the better version. Check out any photo in any contest, then click on the Hi/res button and you will see the difference that it makes.

Cropping and straightening would help bring the graffiti more into the center of interest. Scary art.
