Night shots go really well with graveyards. Spooky and well done.
(5 years and 2549 days ago)Quite different, unusual and well done.
(5 years and 2550 days ago)Very original idea. No high res?
(5 years and 2550 days ago)Sepia tones work well for this one. Interesting photo.
(5 years and 2550 days ago)The fog really enhances the mood of desolation and desertion.
(5 years and 2550 days ago)Never heard of one. What is it for? Very nice texture and lighting.
(5 years and 2551 days ago)Citrus what? What is that?
(5 years and 2551 days ago)I guess that you just whipped up the alley. Good one.
(5 years and 2551 days ago)I would have cropped out the bright glare of the reflection. Very unusual knife holder.
(5 years and 2551 days ago)No you don't if you just edit your existing photo. Go to "My Stuff", then "My contest entries". Once you locate your entry, there is an option to edit it. When you upload this way, there is a check box near the bottom that says "Also save full resolution image." This gives a better version to look at of your photo but does not change any votes or views of the existing entry. This can be done right up until the contest closes for voting. You only lose views and votes if you start again with a new entry, not by editing an existing one. I hope this helps, because entries can be seen much clearer when you look at them in the high res version.
(5 years and 2554 days ago)Do you have a high res version? If so, please upload so that we can see the photo at it's best.
(5 years and 2554 days ago)To do this, you must check the "Upload High Resolution" box when entering or editing a photo. The photo, as shown in the contest list are downsized and do not give a very good rendition of your photos.
Hi to you, too. Very creative thinking.
(5 years and 2554 days ago)I think that I would have cropped out more of the blurry foreground. It takes away from the reflection of the spoon. Very original idea.
(5 years and 2554 days ago)Either a few people very drunk or a very large party!
(5 years and 2554 days ago)I like the colours.
(5 years and 2555 days ago)Looks like more than just morning has broken. That looks like it hurts.
(5 years and 2555 days ago)Quite beautiful. The frost on the grass is exquisite.
(5 years and 2555 days ago)I don't agree friiskiwi, I like the symmetry, and I have an affinity for water and reflections.
(5 years and 2555 days ago)I like it!
(5 years and 2555 days ago)Quite noisy, but a beautiful scene.
(5 years and 2555 days ago)So, who took the picture? Just kidding!
(5 years and 2555 days ago)Great spot and good photo.
Very nice. Beautiful setting.
(5 years and 2555 days ago)That's a light bulb? Fooled me.
(5 years and 2555 days ago)Clean and simple. Nice photo.
(5 years and 2556 days ago)Nicely done. Lovely colours.
(5 years and 2556 days ago)Wonderful mood. Would have been good for the fog contest too.
(5 years and 2556 days ago)The crooked cemetery also has crooked trees?
(5 years and 2556 days ago)An SBS to see how the lighting lines can be made so abrupt would be much appreciated. Interesting technique and photo.
(5 years and 2557 days ago)I beg to disagree, kyricom. Holes for the eyes and mouth are not required, by the definition.
(5 years and 2559 days ago)see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mask
They don't even have to be face masks. Some are body or finger masks according to wikipedia.
Great set up. The black and white has a wonderful impact.
(5 years and 2559 days ago)Simple, pure and very nice. I have an affinity for water and reflections. Very Nice.
(5 years and 2562 days ago)Nice DOF. The berries look three dimensional.
(5 years and 2562 days ago)This one bugs me! Amazing macro.
(5 years and 2562 days ago)Couldn't be more on theme. Great effect.
(5 years and 2564 days ago)I like the outdoor setting
(5 years and 2564 days ago)Nice bright colors. Very appealing.
(5 years and 2564 days ago)Not recommended for children under three years of age!
(5 years and 2564 days ago)Powerful image. The skates are a bit of an oddity, though, other than to hide the necessary. There must be a story here somewhere.
(5 years and 2564 days ago)I like the mood.
(5 years and 2564 days ago)Huh? A little hard to understand without knowing the legend that goes with it. Sure doesn't look like a marriage proposal to me. The answer is no.
(5 years and 2565 days ago)Checkmate? The answer is no.
(5 years and 2565 days ago)Very nice.
(5 years and 2565 days ago)I mean your foot is in the door towards winning the contest. Just a pun. I like your photo. Well done.
(5 years and 2565 days ago)i like your photo.
Tranquil and nice composition.
(5 years and 2565 days ago)I would say that you have your foot in the door.
(5 years and 2565 days ago)No help. It seemed obvious to me, especially now that Canadians need a passport to travel almost anywhere!
(5 years and 2566 days ago)Will they let me into the country?
(5 years and 2566 days ago)Thanks for getting back on this. Congratulations on your win!
(5 years and 2575 days ago)PS: Great collection of old cameras.
(5 years and 2575 days ago)Nowadays the computer IS the darkroom. I get as much pleasure from tweaking my photos as I do from taking them. You don't need a whole room full of chemicals and the results are just as rewarding. Maybe more, with the great improvements of camera technology and computer software. Those who disdain the computer steps are the same as those who would be happy with a polaroid picture or don't know how to use the software. Just a vent to those who wish that they were still taking rolls of film to be processed somewhere in the near future.
