(5 years and 2472 days ago)Your art is perfectly telling the concept.
(5 years and 2479 days ago)Congrats!!
(5 years and 2496 days ago)If you had posted this in the photography contests, I doubt anyone would have noticed. Fine work! Good luck!
(5 years and 2497 days ago)Great work. Love the extra 'context' added by putting the machinery into action and having it 'flying'. Good luck
(5 years and 2504 days ago)I can't find words :O Awesome job, respect.
(5 years and 2507 days ago)Great job!
(5 years and 2512 days ago)I really liked your water drops. Going to see if I can learn something from your sbs. Congrats on second place!
(5 years and 2517 days ago)good work...
(5 years and 2523 days ago)nice....
(5 years and 2532 days ago)very good job author i like the depth of field and the glow around the spatulas
(5 years and 2749 days ago)Cool idea! I am not sure but the apples out of the painting should look this way "alife" because they are out of the painting right?! This is just my opinion tho! I love it, truly lovely work!
(5 years and 3029 days ago)I like Cezanne...........I like your work!
(5 years and 3031 days ago)Author, the contest rules state: "...let one (or more) of the elements in this painting come to life." Not using the oil colors in your render doesn't negate the fact that your elements don't match.
(5 years and 3036 days ago)I'm sure that you could create a small "freeform" blotch texture that you could overlay onto the apples, slightly warping it for variation, but I am not a 3d user - there are some excellent 3d artists here who may have a suggestion.
Your apples are lovely, they just don't look like they came out of the picture, they look like someone went shopping and bought some huge yellow apples...
try using some dirt maps in alpha or generate some layers of noise some large and some small and put it in bump as well gl.
(5 years and 3036 days ago)The apples are too yellow and "perfect." The ones in the painting have a lot of red splotches, some green, and a few bruises.
(5 years and 3037 days ago)Really like your idea, man! Though it's a bit cartoon (comic style) renders in my opinion. But surely it's a fantastic work, Author! Top notch, high score!
(5 years and 3048 days ago)congrats! knew this is Top 3 stuff
(5 years and 3055 days ago)congrats great idea!
(5 years and 3056 days ago)This hurts my brain...
(5 years and 3057 days ago)Clever idea and good composition the only nitpicks I have are, two of the cigarettes needed a better smoothing angles as they are looking a little jagged, and the edges of the Pxleyes logo could have been cleaner overall good work.
(5 years and 3058 days ago)Lovely floral pattern
(5 years and 3059 days ago)actually, I'm glad you did because I like this A LOT better!!!
(5 years and 3061 days ago)simple, nice... I like
(5 years and 3061 days ago)Nice...would make a great textile pattern!
(5 years and 3062 days ago)Very Matissey good luck author
(5 years and 3062 days ago)you still changed the colors? You are supposed to only decrease the colors used.
(5 years and 3062 days ago)The contest is to "decrease the color depth anywhere from 2 to 16 colors (1-4 bit)." You're not supposed to additionally play with the image by then changing and merging colors. That is unfair to the other entries.
(5 years and 3062 days ago)I know it's too late, sorry Author, but the hats are not just supposed to be reflected (good job), but also must be angled differently to match the change in head positions.
(5 years and 3064 days ago)great lighting, textures.... a little too perfect feel, maybe add a little "used" feel maybe better?
(5 years and 3067 days ago)otherwise, it is PERFECT!
Nice idea and excellent entry, well done.
(5 years and 3067 days ago)Great entry author, GL!
(5 years and 3069 days ago)Great concept! The elephant's edges need a little more blur so it doesn't look so rough.
(5 years and 3070 days ago)Great idea. Isn't the wood a little too bright? I dunno i think in real it doesn't shine as much even if the light source is strong.
(5 years and 3070 days ago)There's a lot of work in this image, wondering what the black smudge on the top of his trunk is? (You think you could replace it with reading glasses?) unless it is something I'm missing ?!?!?!
(5 years and 3071 days ago)very nice image, very good job
haha, I found the same image as the one posted by MAD, possibly your inspiration. When you google "impossible" its on like the 2nd page. Good work.
(5 years and 3075 days ago)You need to provide either an SBS showing how you created this, or source links if you used other images to make it.
(5 years and 3075 days ago)This is it: http://dornob.com/impossible-wine-glass-3-casually-clever-tableware-designs/
(5 years and 3075 days ago)Sebastian E's other designs are also awesome and bend the rules of possible. Worth a look.
