Good job, and good to see you back!
(5 years and 1369 days ago)Great job, everything works well.
(5 years and 1369 days ago)Ah, okay...got it!
(5 years and 1371 days ago)Good job over all, but why remove the eyes?
(5 years and 1371 days ago)Good idea! (But you should put your source links in the boxes provided).
(5 years and 1374 days ago)Congrats for second!
(5 years and 1376 days ago)Congrats!
(5 years and 1376 days ago)PS: I think the thickness of the lines you used is just about right.
(5 years and 1376 days ago)Author, you should know you have to post links to your source images.
(5 years and 1378 days ago)You might want to soften the hard edges on the ghost, otherwise this is an effective image. (PS: Your links work, but 1-3 lead to the wrong images).
(5 years and 1383 days ago)Please post your source link, and read http://www.pxleyes.com/guidelines/photoshop/
(5 years and 1388 days ago)Interesting idea. The black background helps emphasize the dramatic lighting on the head, and works well.
(5 years and 1388 days ago)Powerful image. I'd go back to the real gun, though. This one doesn't look very convincing. Also, I don't get the white glow on the helmet when everything else is yellow. That said, I still like it a lot.
(5 years and 1389 days ago)Great, looks better with real headphones!
(5 years and 1389 days ago)Nice face on the pup. No fur on the large figure's arms?
(5 years and 1390 days ago)Good image, except the headphones are a vector graphic (render), and not useable. 5.6. 3D Renders or Illustrations as Source:
(5 years and 1390 days ago)Using other people's 3D renders or illustrations (even with permission and no matter in which form they are offered) creates a false impression of your artwork. So 3D renders or illustrations can not be used as sources, unless they are entirely created by yourself. Only acceptable non-illustration brushes and clip art may be used, but you need to mention them as a source too. Don't use an image that has been altered by the source owner nor an entire work created by someone else.
I'm sure you can find a photo to replace them and resubmit. Good luck!
Good and creepy! Great job on the head especially, but the antennae on the neck look out of place.
(5 years and 1390 days ago)"It would be a good idea to add a written description of your superhero's powers and abilities as well."
(5 years and 1391 days ago)Author, each of your personal photos should be posted in a step-by-step guide (SBS).
(5 years and 1391 days ago)5.3. Use of Personal Images as Source:
If you use your own personal images as a source, link to its online location and proof it's yours. If it's nowhere online, upload the uncut source to your step by step guide, with an explanation that it is your image.
Good idea. Reminds me of Donny Darko.
(5 years and 1392 days ago)Would you consider coloring the shirt so the kid stands out from the background? Just my first impression...
(5 years and 1393 days ago)Good image. If you didn't want to give him a motion blur, I might have made the speed lines just a bit more obvious, but it's OK like it is. Good luck!
(5 years and 1393 days ago)Congrats, good work!
(5 years and 1398 days ago)Great job, congrats!
(5 years and 1398 days ago)Interesting, but shadows are inconsistent.
(5 years and 1398 days ago)Links need to lead to the actual photo used. Check your proportions...the head is too small.
(5 years and 1399 days ago)Nicely done.
(5 years and 1399 days ago)Nice job.
(5 years and 1400 days ago)Must try to unsee...
(5 years and 1402 days ago)Or select the area outside the hand, contract 1 pixel, feather 1 pixel & delete. Either way the entry will improve.
(5 years and 1402 days ago)Good idea & mood. Try to rotate the rook & knight so their bases are parallel to the surface of the board. The rook is only off a bit, but the knight is more obvious.
(5 years and 1403 days ago)Good idea! The knight and the king are fairly well oriented, but the rest of the pieces could be rotated so they align better with the surface of the head.
(5 years and 1404 days ago)That's really thinking inside the box!
(5 years and 1405 days ago)The bomber command figures and the coal mine machinery are both up shots, and don't match the perspective of the rest.
(5 years and 1406 days ago)SXC is now http://www.freeimages.com/
(5 years and 1407 days ago)Light source on the hand is from upper right. Shadows should be cast accordingly. You might want to soften (feather or blur) the hard edges of the hand, too.
(5 years and 1412 days ago)Great job! Now there's some competition!
(5 years and 1412 days ago)Sources 3 & 7 are premanipulated images, and not useable.
(5 years and 1413 days ago)Please read http://www.pxleyes.com/guidelines/photoshop/

You might want to soften (feather) your edges, otherwise good entry & SBS.
(5 years and 1415 days ago)Sorry author, I only noticed no source links posted & didn't look at the SBS. My apology.
(5 years and 1417 days ago)Please post your source links, and read http://www.pxleyes.com/guidelines/photoshop/
(5 years and 1417 days ago)EDIT: Author posted own source pics.
Please read http://www.pxleyes.com/guidelines/photoshop/

Congrats, Rob!
(5 years and 1419 days ago)Congrats, Ron!
(5 years and 1419 days ago)Congrats, Rein!
(5 years and 1419 days ago)Not sure about the shadow, but a fun image.
(5 years and 1419 days ago)Just go to My entries>Set sources. Be sure to put the URL in the top box and the text in the box below. Shouldn't be a problem.
