Ya know, author, I totally get your response and I sympathize with it way more than you know! I agree with you! But IMHO it's still a minimal use of the source.

The body looks too red & too dark compared to the rest, and the straight lines are distracting, but it's a good job...

Contract the selection around the parrot a pixel or two to get rid of the white edge and you'll have a great image...good luck!
