Congrats!
(5 years and 1503 days ago)Nicely done, congrats!
(5 years and 1503 days ago)Similar values in foreground & background don't help the figures to stand out, also some blur on background might help.
(5 years and 1505 days ago)Excellent work, author! My only suggestion would be to give the teeth on the fish some dimension and fix the blurry side of his head. The lighting is superb.
(5 years and 1508 days ago)Adding the broken glass really makes this work now. My only problem is with the line where the wave meets the hull of the ship, and I still think the water looks better in step 3, but it's a well made and imaginative image.
(5 years and 1509 days ago)Congrats, well done!
(5 years and 1510 days ago)Congrats!
(5 years and 1510 days ago)IMO reverting to something like Step 3 would be an improvement, with less yellow in the water, and not so much of a confusing dark mass in front of the bow. This can be a great image with the right tweaks.
(5 years and 1511 days ago)Good source finds! They might stand out better against a different background. The black rocks against the blacks in the foreground figures is visually confusing.
(5 years and 1512 days ago)If you got to that point, you should see the "Create Step" button. Then you can upload a JPG for each step. Once you've done that, just click the "Done" button.
(5 years and 1512 days ago)Some shading would be good, so the cow looks like a sphere and not a pancake.
(5 years and 1516 days ago)There would be a highlight similar to that on the leg on the wolf head and the alligator tail. Otherwise it's a good image.
(5 years and 1518 days ago)Good work. He really pops, and the textures make it.
(5 years and 1519 days ago)I don't get it. (And please fix your first link, it just leads to the Morguefile home page).
(5 years and 1519 days ago)Great for Halloween!
(5 years and 1521 days ago)Looks good, needs SBS. (Author, you can post your SBS along with your entry).
(5 years and 1522 days ago)Scary & well blended. I wonder how he shaves...
(5 years and 1522 days ago)Congrats!
(5 years and 1524 days ago)Good job, congrats!
(5 years and 1524 days ago)Congrats!
(5 years and 1524 days ago)Nice work, congrats!
(5 years and 1524 days ago)Well done, congrats!
(5 years and 1524 days ago)Creepy! (Needs hi res image).
(5 years and 1526 days ago)I was hoping my 'No Avatar' conceptual piece might have won that contest, but it sure got a great response!
(5 years and 1527 days ago)Wow...the CMYK of 3000AD...the shades have evolved into a green third eye! Good construction & SBS, gotta love the eye beam.
(5 years and 1528 days ago)Good drawing, but it's the perspective that really makes it!
(5 years and 1531 days ago)Author, it's much better now. You can see the perspective on the tops of the two objects is still different. The shapes of the ellipses should be proportional. Also, the light source from the left is stronger than the candlelight, so the snail shadow should be adjusted.
(5 years and 1531 days ago)Fun image!
(5 years and 1531 days ago)Nice composition!
(5 years and 1531 days ago)Good thinking!
(5 years and 1531 days ago)Congrats!
(5 years and 1531 days ago)Well done, congrats!
(5 years and 1531 days ago)The perspective on the incense bowl and the candle holder should be the same. The bottom of the oval thing holding the candle would be in shadow, as the bowl, right now it seems to be floating, and too far forward. The shadows of the objects show 3 different light sources.
(5 years and 1531 days ago)Might want to soften a few edges, but the overall image & effect is good.
(5 years and 1534 days ago)Now just level the gargoyle on the shelf and put a shadow under him and you're mostly there. You might want to darken the highlights on his left (our right) side, too.
(5 years and 1534 days ago)See source photo.
(5 years and 1534 days ago)Thanks for the smiles! I love the guy at the top, and the expression of the guy on the swing. Good work!
(5 years and 1534 days ago)PS: Just caught the bottom of the shoe on second look...cracks me up.
Great work on the lighting. Very believable image, and thorough SBS.
(5 years and 1535 days ago)The light source on the bowl should be making consistent shadows on all objects, and its shadow on the gargoyle would conform to the shape. There are no corresponding shadows on either gargoyle. (Basically you have 3 different light sources here). The perspective of the oval opening of the bowl is different than the shelves. Fix this and you'll have a good image.
(5 years and 1535 days ago)Nice job.
(5 years and 1535 days ago)Handsome guy, whoever this is... (Seems to have lost the arms on his shades, though).
(5 years and 1536 days ago)Good job on the wood texture, but if that's supposed to be water, it needs a lot of work to look believable.
(5 years and 1537 days ago)PS: I think you need a link to the wood texture.
Try to remove the white edge around the rooftops. (Expand sky selection 1 or 2 pixels & delete) And fix the transparent skulls & overlapping cracks at left of the pile. I'd also recommend some desaturation of the image to make it more ominous.
(5 years and 1538 days ago)Congrats and welcome to this wacky place!
(5 years and 1538 days ago)Congrats!
(5 years and 1538 days ago)Congrats on the sweep!
(5 years and 1538 days ago)Fur's a bit blurry, but good job with the lighting, and good humor.
(5 years and 1540 days ago)Maybe a giant mosquito would be more dangerous, but it's a good image.
(5 years and 1542 days ago)Again, good mood.
(5 years and 1543 days ago)Good mood.
