Pixel, you mean transparency...

This is really great! Just 2 things that might make it better: I would have blended the top spiral on the body into the cloth for a seamless transition. This way the head doesn't really seem attached to the body. The only other little thing is the hat doesn't really look like it's sitting on her head. Over all, it's still a fine image...good luck!
PS: If you've got the arm on a layer, just put it behind the body layer!

A dress in the ocean? Maybe find a swimsuit pic instead...

You lost the highlights on the head from your outside source pic...what were you thinking? You've had lots of time to amend this into maximum coolness...
