Shadows on the people are too blurry & opaque. Check shadows of furniture.
(5 years and 408 days ago)The two light sources on the horizon should match up...one is a reflection of the other. And shouldn't the dark squares have dark edges, and the light squares, light edges?
(5 years and 419 days ago)Check shadows. Light source on desert pic is from the left. Your light ray would cast a different shadow, skewed more to our left.
(5 years and 423 days ago)White fairy head is distorted and a bit large(Or maybe it's the neck), and it doesn't look like her hand is holding the wand. A much thinner wand might work better. Good effort over all.
(5 years and 429 days ago)You've gone batty!
(5 years and 429 days ago)The wood texture needs to conform to the contours of the face. Maybe try a displacement map.
(5 years and 437 days ago)You're a maniac. In the best way, of course...
(5 years and 441 days ago)Very proficient painting! The shadows are too opaque and a bit dark, and I would have placed them more to the right, judging from the highlights you created.
(5 years and 458 days ago)You might want to add some train tracks...you had them in Step 5 and then you lost them.
(5 years and 464 days ago)Much improved...GL author!
(5 years and 469 days ago)Please check the source image. It's only the shade of the wall that makes it look like she's on a corner. (Author, not the best choice of sources because of that optical illusion...).
(5 years and 470 days ago)The petals look like they're only attached to half of the flower. Also, there are green smudges on the tips of the petals. Otherwise good work.
(5 years and 479 days ago)We need to see there are lips under the paint.
(5 years and 485 days ago)
(5 years and 486 days ago)Good color & mood.
(5 years and 487 days ago)It still works fine for me. Try this and type in cast shadows in the search bar. https://www.photoshopessentials.com/
(5 years and 491 days ago)I'm using Chrome.
The link works for me. Just copy it and paste it into your browser. It's very helpful for creating cast shadows.

(5 years and 492 days ago)If the whale is supposed to be breaching through high clouds, I'd think about eliminating the water drops. He'd get pretty dry getting up there.
(5 years and 494 days ago)Where is it supposed to be? The shadow says it's on the wall, but the perspective says it's in front of the stone block...
(5 years and 495 days ago)Agree with BWR.
(5 years and 495 days ago)Sources 2 & 3 are renders, and not useable.
(5 years and 500 days ago)5.6. 3D Renders or Illustrations as Source:
Using other people's 3D renders or illustrations (even with permission and no matter in which form they are offered) creates a false impression of your artwork. So 3D renders or illustrations can not be used as sources, unless they are entirely created by yourself. Only acceptable non-illustration brushes and clip art may be used, but you need to mention them as a source too. Don't use an image that has been altered by the source owner nor an entire work created by someone else.
(5 years and 504 days ago)Slick!
(5 years and 507 days ago)Just lose the square highlight and you're good to go. Love the Latin motto.
(5 years and 521 days ago)Great, love his face!
(5 years and 522 days ago)Needs feet.
(5 years and 525 days ago)You can't, but you have plenty of time to revise it and resubmit. Just make sure to read the guidelines and find useable sources.
(5 years and 541 days ago)Screen grabs or sources from blogs are not licensed for use under Creative Commons. Please see: http://www.pxleyes.com/blog/2009/06/how-and-where-to-find-legal-source-images/ and http://www.pxleyes.com/guidelines/photoshop/

(5 years and 542 days ago)Please see: http://www.pxleyes.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=5644&p=61826#p61826 about using Google for images.
(5 years and 542 days ago)Once you find a useable image the link has to lead to the specific image used.
If those statues are meant to be a gateway or something they need to have thickness.
(5 years and 545 days ago)The yellow boat isn't convincing, and with that strong light source both boats would have long shadows. Your idea is good.
(5 years and 548 days ago)Love your entry, but source 10 isn't a stock image. Use ONLY this URL when searching DA for images. http://www.deviantart.com/browse/all/resources/stockart/
(5 years and 549 days ago)Even then some authors place restrictions on useage.
I'm sure you can find a useable replacement.
Great job with the fabric.
(5 years and 551 days ago)You might want to scale the money to the size of the figure, otherwise good idea.
(5 years and 556 days ago)You might want to re-think the proportions.
(5 years and 557 days ago)Please post your source link, and read http://www.pxleyes.com/guidelines/photoshop/

(5 years and 562 days ago)Please fix your source links.
(5 years and 571 days ago)I'd add some more subtle rimlighting on the clouds to our right, but good work.
(5 years and 572 days ago)Motion blur comes to mind.
(5 years and 573 days ago)The sparks are a light source. There couldn't be cast shadows on them.
(5 years and 573 days ago)I'd remove the drop shadows on the pieces above his left hand. Otherwise well done.
(5 years and 573 days ago)Superb.
(5 years and 575 days ago)Looks good...have you thought about a frame?
