Looks better! It's hard to judge the light source in the background image, but I think the woman's shadow could be rotated about 10-20 degrees clockwise. See how it looks to you that way.

Just an idea...lose the wings & make the hair less green. Then the image would be more realistic. By flipping the head you have created conflicting light sources on the figure, so the shadow doesn't know where to go. Think about it...this could be a much better entry.

Might be better to center the woman's torso on the hourglass...this way she's just cut off.

The full res image of the paper plane source is very sharp. It looks like you chose a lower res image, and now the edges are jagged. There's plenty of time to D/L the hi res pic & correct this, and as Waz said, fix the opacity on the legos. This could be a lot better!

The top should be lightest. It's not. The front face with the Vader head should be darkest. It's not.

Author, I like your image. IMHO it relies too much on 3D mesh. Still, you got a good vote.

Author, the example was just given to show how the values of the 3 sides would differ. The lighting is up to you. In your entry, the top would be lightest, and the front face (w/ Vader head) the darkest. The contrast doesn't need to be as dramatic as in the example, but it needs to be there.

Any cube that's normally lit will show 3 sides, as you have. Depending on the light source, each side would have a different value.

How about a glow around the light saber, and a background for him to be standing on? And what's the reference image for the body?

The drop shadow shouldn't appear on the background, and it needs to be blurred. The sides of the cube should have different values of shading unless you're implying it's lit from inside.

Author, the balloon is still completely flat with no shading. It needs to look spherical.

If the Martian hockey puck is in a position to reflect in the side of the building, it wouldn't be able to cast a shadow in the foreground.

I don't see them, and you've created conflicting light sources by flipping the cup at right. The light on the others is from the left.

Interesting idea, but the figures just blur into the background...they need to have some definition where they meet the horizontal plane, and some shadows. Also, try to give the planes some depth. The background planes should be darker, the foreground planes lighter.

I love this guy! It's just that the snowflakes don't make it for me somehow. I think I might have given them a slight blur and a bit less opacity. Still, the main image is great.

The reflection shows things in the rear of the object. This is impossible.

Try giving the balloon some shading, and give the shadow a blur.

I have no idea what the eagle is supposed to be doing in this image.

Try making the cracked earth layer less opaque and/or on Overlay. That should give the face more definition.
