You wanted to match what? The head of the Gandhi statue isn't distorted. If you want to resize an image, hold down the shift key when scaling.

Not bad, but look at the lighting on the source pic & adjust your shadows accordingly. You might consider reducing the amount of empty space around the figure, too.

The skull pieces need some grass blades in front of them so they don't look like they're floating. Try using the smudge tool at a very small brush size around 75% strength or less.

Can't see the hat. Try to remove the lines around the ring.

It's an interesting image, but I don't see the snail guarding anything.

Now I can't see anything against the background. It's all white on white, black on black. You had it right earlier.

I think the shading gives the glass enough of a fisheye effect. Good idea, author.

If this were my image I'd desaturate the background a lot...right now all the colors are competing for my attention.

Links need to lead to specific image used. Morguefile has changed its layout. The image URL now appears in the popup window, at lower right.
IMO the brushes on the tower don't work. The hair effect is good, but it's sharp at the top & blurry lower. It all should be as sharp as the top part.
