Please look at the shadow of the astronaut in the source image and correct your shadows. They should be rotated about 12 degrees clockwise at least.

Sharp edges should be blurred a bit. Fake fingernails could use some work.

I'd crop out the needless black bars at top & bottom of the source pic. Otherwise it's not a bad image, although on second look I'm not sure the image in the drop would be inverted.

Great idea! Just one suggestion: change the color of the girder behind him to be more like the others. Right now it almost looks like part of his head. You might want to darken the little guys as they recede into the background, to create depth. GL author.

Interesting concept, but the execution looks rushed.

Light source for the background is clearly from the right. Light source on the girl is clearly from the left.

You've only created a partial shadow for the steps (Which doesn't work with the light in the source image, which is from upper left), and you've split the light source in the background.

I'd move the girl a bit so the object in the background doesn't look like it's sitting on her head. Otherwise, pretty good for a first entry.
