Shadows are wrong. With that light source the bee wouldn't have a shadow in this image, and the shadows of the figures in background should give a better idea of the shadow the girl would cast.

Give it some depth...the interior would be in shadow.

Look at the shadow of the bull's horn...that clearly establishes the light source, which would give you the angles of the other shadows. Good idea otherwise.

Looks good! One suggestion would be to add noise to the head to match the elephant skin texture, and slightly dim the highlights.

Photoshop has a smudge tool. It is a feature of the blur tool. The rat looks much better now.

Author, you don't understand what we're talking about. Again, look at the edges of your white rat and compare with the source. You can use a fine smudge brush to pull (drag) small hairs out from the fur to simulate those in the original.

The debris around the tires looks a bit unnatural...it would conform more to their shape. And the rust texture is pretty convincing on the metal, but it shouldn't be on the tires.
