There's just as much yellow in the background as in the foreground. Yellow doesn't work well in a simulated night scene as described in the contest description, but if you want yellow lights in the background, the foreground should be more blue.

Scale problems: Leaves are too big, cat is too big. Woman figure has white outlines that could be easily removed by selecting the figure, contracting 1 pixel & deleting. Good concept that could benefit with some tweaks...GL author.

Good image, but how have you used the sign in the contest image?

The shadow is about 10 degrees off from the light source...just draw a line and see. Not bad otherwise.

The perspective is totally off. The original source pic is a down shot, but the bottom of the final image with the reflection is at a completely different angle with a horizon line that makes no sense.

You might want to post a step-by-step, or a link to the transparency tutorial.

(If I could be permitted one more small nitpick, maybe blurring the sharp edges you've created would fit better with the rest of the original image, but I love your concept and choice of source material...good luck!).

Nice reconstruction of the forehead, but in high res the neck is badly blended into the body, and you need to continue the strong highlight on the shoulder where the head was. This could be great with a few tweaks...GL author!

Light source is from upper right. Shadows match that source, not the one you've made.
