After seeing step 3 I thought you were doing great! Then you added the background, which took it out of the realm of stained glass and into something else. There's nothing wrong with that in terms of the contest, but I own a stained glass studio and in the real world, this would not work. Good luck anyway, I still like your image!

Reflection is wrong. You wouldn't see her hands, or the inside of the umbrella. Also, sitting off center like that, she'd be capsizing.

Book needs a shadow as well as the figure, and the shadow on the grass would be offset from the plane of the book. The edges would also be broken up by the grass shapes.

Great source find, but the metal rings are blurry and distorted. Please list the background source also.

The creature doesn't look backlit, and the shadow should conform to the contours of the steps, as well as have more edge blur and maybe a bit less opacity.

Cropping out the extraneous building (BOH) parts could help. After all, it's the doors that count.;

Decrease white outlines around cats & try to make symbols in stone more realistic. Right now the edges are too sharp, and most don't conform to contours of the stones.

Whether or not the leaf butterfly is visible, the dog is too small compared to the leaves, and needs a shadow to keep it from seeming that it's floating.

Not only is the dog too distorted, but it would be behind the plane, not in front.

After seeing the SBS I must say this is good work.

Perspective on the Buddha is wrong. The source pic is an up shot, but you've placed him in an image that was shot at eye level. Good color, though.
