If all else fails and you have to stick to the silly "only one person" restriction, just crop the pic so all you can see are the hands, which shouldn't be considered a "person".

Yes I know, I just called them wings because that's what they are in your source pic. Don't you think the hat is a bit too small and too dark compared to the source? The background is better now.

Classical vampires can turn into bats, and vice versa...I have no problem with the batlike image.

Background is too dark. At first glance the kid is missing the top of his head, and the wings don't stand out. IMO real wings would work better.

Bubbles should be less opaque, not more. A high res image would be nice, too...
