To all: make sure you're brightness is set well for this contest. Originally I thought this image was too dark, but then realized my monitor is a bit dark. Nice job, author!

The mood is set nicely here. Although it's always tricky to do such night shots with everyone's monitors set differently. On my monitor it's kind of dark...but when I brighten the monitor's luminence...it's perfect.

Very good work author...U achieved transformation from day to night in best way...maybe is shadow under the child a bit confusing but that's a big + from me cause that is the game of shadows in the forest by night...best of luck

No sky at night is as "bright" as that". The shadows are too though.

(you really need to work on your text manipulations.. they are just.. well.. they need LOTs of work.. maybe if you checked out some tutorials..you know.. Like Layout and Design 101? Even a local tiny village Newspaper wouldn't use this type of work (just being honest))

Inconsistent lighting. The dagger/photo show lighting from the top, while the desk and globe show the strong flash from in front. Matte finish or not, the typewriter should show more light refraction on it than it does - It looks "dull" in the image.

Metaphor or no, consistency and believability is what a good chop is all about. That's why they made the Burn and Dodge tool...

That said, I think this was one of the best "tributes" I've seen, in that it is identifiable with the idol.

And suddenly, I learned so much about you author. Just your choice of shrine. I really would never have guessed.
