Your work is always recognizable. Your a true modern day artist. I almost don't want to make any suggestions, because your work is so unique, it's just not my style. High grades for all the work.

Ok, I'm gonna make some suggestions. The structure of this beast is really good, but I would've left out the HDR effect and went lighter on the shading in step 13 of your sbs. After step 13 I would focus on a light source, where is it what direction is it coming from are there more than one? Every edge would then be highlighted to match these new light sources, along with shadows on the backside of those highlights. Lastly you've put too much work into this guy for it to get lost in the background. I would use a slight lens blurr to create more depth so This awesome guys gets the much attention he deserves. After all is said and done, your still one of a kind and I'm not saying to change your style. But if you did these are things I would do.

Really nice 3d image you started with. Although I must say I do very much prefer the second or third image in your sbs. I think after those steps your image became harder to read, maybe because of the darkness. Also I really didn't notice some of the nicer details, such as the birds until I enlarged the image. Would've been cool to see a camel or something in step 2 of your sbs, or a greater focus on the birds. Even if they were closer in the final composition. Overall good job, and good luck!

Extra points for the nice sbs! Nice effect with the smudge tool. Not sure if you're trying to go for real hair or not. If you were I might suggest using a smaller brush when you use the smudge tool. Or just add a new layer set to screen and use a really small brush to paint out some small wispy hairs. Having said that, you could have easily been going for a different effect. If so, ignore everything I just said.

Good one! Very original with a nice composition and sources. I would've like to see sharper hair on top to match some of the other hair on the elephant. But also understand the depth of field would also soften many of the hairs in the back part. Good luck!

Great job. I love the details of the sbs as well. Only critique would be the bottom left flower seams to have a shadow layer that might of got moved and has a harsh edge. Good luck!

I would've liked to see a darker shadow closest to the insects legs, and the front right leg looks like it shouldn't be visible from the angle it's at. Other than that, nice looking entry. Good luck!

This is really nice! One nitpick which would put this over the top is the exhaust pipes. The need to be moved down a little so they look centered on the top. Right now they look like they are coming out of the other side. Good luck!

This is something we call CBR ( chopped beyond recognition) around here. If you check the sbs, you'll see whee mr. Grumpy went. CBR is frowned upon with certain people, but many including me have no issue with it. Although I would've preferred more of mr. Grumpy's texture left. Nice entry and good luck author!

Woodztockr, What it looks like is the author thinks Walmart and Amazon robs its customers. The customer isn't forced to buy products from either company. In fact both companies are known for saving customers money with little to no profit on many of their products. Amozon sells it's kindle Fire for a loss and many of the high end electronics at Walmart are sold at a loss or a really small margin. The other day I saw a customer arguing with a Walmart associate because he wanted a deal on a TV. The guy wanted to pay $400 for a $1000 TV and also wanted him to throw in a sound bar and wall mount for free. The guy was screaming at the employee and told hime several times to go f*** himself. I'm starting to wonder if the you or the author was the one being a d*** at the store. So I guess I'm sorry if I don't see how a store can steal from the customer, when it's the customers choice to shop there in the first place.

Really nice original image! Although the edits have ruined it for me.

Add a black and white Gradient Map adjustment layer, then set the layer mode to luminosity to kill some of the haziness of your image. Good luck!

I can see just a small masking issue with the edge of one of the water sources right on top of the duck. Other than that really nice! Although A reflection of the duck in the kids eye would add that extra punch. Good Luck!

If you look at the edges on the small drops they are very crisp compared to the larger ones. I would sharpen the edges of the larger drops to create more constancy between them. Good Luck.
