good shadows

The parade is indeed nice, but the shadows are weak (compared with shadows on right side of image) and the rear paraders seem oversized relative to the parade watchers.

did you download the high resolution version of the source1 image? i'm asking because the cowboys look kinda weird. like you used an awkward combination of filters on em. also, they're too blurry compared to the rest of the image, especially the background when they are supposed be the ones in focus. but the chopping must have taken forever!

The perspectives of the horses and riders are a little off. They're too big.

I think the balloon strings are too thick. Try to make them using pen tool (2 or 3 pxl) and draw them stretched.

Perspectives are way off. The cars are huge.

the shadows need some work. the shadow from the clown in back is across the one in fronts head. and the legs on the shadows are off. as with the umbrella. the car in back may be a bit big. good luck. i like that the clowns are looking the same way as the people, like there is something over there.

The dark orange line that is bottem of the inside of the shoe should follow the contour of the shoe. thats whats throwing it off. if ya fixed that it would look great.

The man in the forward is tad blurry. The man in the middle needs to be flipped 'cause of lighting source and the man on the left needs a shadow.

As CMYK said, at first look it's quite difficult to recognize that it's a shoe; try to shade inside part to define both sides.

Not to big on the mirrored look.... frozen water needs little work, some light texture and where it meets the land.

Try to define the inside of the shoe better, give the edges of the upper part some thickness, and give the shoe a bit of shadow.

The buildings & mountains are far enough away that they wouldn't be reflected in the water, just the sky.

The water is very clear, I think we'd see a suggestion of the legs underwater, right now the water around the bathers looks too opaque. The reflections of the two on the left should be straight down and more disturbed by ripples IMHO.

Nice idea still needs a little work tho (why so pixilated) surfing girl has some white edges that need to be removed.

@leebaoren, the sky isn't wrong it's your lcd monitor and the angle your looking at it. Move your head up and down to see that your screens color changes as you do so.
