oh it's a super duper great chop, I'm just saying the shape is very limiting, (the over all image is square with a lot of extra imagery).. localize your subject and the eye will flow to the bird and see the wonderful drowning hand.. The black framing around your image already has destroyed any "scene" you may have attempted, by removing the viewer from the area. While I can appreciate your desire to create an environment, the fact that the snow basically stops where the houses begin already places her "somewhere" that is not connected to the background. Judicious cropping of the excess darkness - even if only to the edges of the window frames, approximately 1/3 of the way in, would give your subject much more dominance in the image, and minimize the awkward juxtoposition of the snowy street with unsnowy buildings on either side, even if you retain the black framing.

Too much empty space on the sides, which lessens the impact of your subject. I would suggest cropping off the empty space and making your subject occupy more of your picture plane.

You did a good job blending the road and the palm trees. There are small details that you can fix, knowing the quality of work you do. The palm trees look very symetrical and some of them are identical. It looks like you cut a picture in half and flipped horizontally. Some of the foliage and palm trees on the right side, look the same as the one you placed on the left side.

About the walking couple, they look small as Bob says. I think correcting these details, you will have a good image. Good luck author.

Just one thing: I think you should check the palm trees again.
The top parts of the highest ones are a bit cut off and on both sides (with that I mean the trees on the left and on the right of the bridge) you can still see the straight line of the blue sky from the palm tree source. Maybe you could try to blend that a bit better
