I like this. It does have a wide DOF, but the tip of the blade is focused. It almost looks like the shadow is the blade and it cut a piece of paper.

The shadow is in sharper focus than the blade edge which is supposed to be the focus...

You should have put the horizon at 1/3, it would avec been more powerfull.

my stomach is turning I think this would have been better if you had taken this before you started to drink it because of all the chunks on the side of the cup. I thought that was garlic at first, not olives. Maybe next time, only put a small amount of the bloody mary in the cup, tip it like you did and leave out the olives. THEN drink it. The two colors together look neat though.

Ear Lobe work could blend better on the cheek face in the middle of the image (a simple soft brush erase would fix it instantly... good idea.. creepy as hell LOL.. good luck!!

I would like to suggest that you place the texture layer over the man layer, then reduce the texture layer opacity. Then, using a mask, carefully erase around the eyes. Once that's done, you can increase the texture layer opacity. That will help you blend the eyes a little better. Hope this helps.

I think you should work a little more on the eyes to blend them more.

Overall this looks good, great concept, text looks dead on to me. I think if you were to create some more depth in the area of the eyes and breather filters you would have a better image. Try creating a shadow effect around the inner portion of the eye lens area, maybe use the burn tool carefully for this shading. Nice job on this, I do like it. Good luck.

This came out VERY realistic. I don't care for the yellow paper background, I'd lighten it to a pale cream, but an excellent effect, nonetheless!
