Super cool author, and excellent SBS. I would suggest to replace the Pawn in the Hand Picture with the Pawn from the contest source. (Not necessary, but it would add to the the synchronicity of the image, making all the pieces alike). GREAT JOB!

Author, you may want to rethink this entry. There is really nothing done here except simple filter work and that is usually a no no in competition. Please contact a MOD to see if this allowed. More work is probably going to be needed. I see where your vision is going, but I'm afraid there isn't enough work here. Not a bad thing, but in competition more is expected. Good luck.

Awesome concept author! Liquify works great to create the melt effect, you can also copy the bottom part of the watch of the melted section (copy) and perspective it so that it looks like it's moving toward you and on the surface of the wood instead of just touching the surface. Tricky, but it adds to the effect. Not necessary just a suggestion. Good luck.

Great beginning entry author, your manipulated sources should be easily replaced (Just a little work, but not a big boo boo). Great to see inventive work. Love the eyes! Just pay attention to your sources. Pre manipulated images are frowned upon because it reflects someone elses's work and not yours. You'll get the hang of it, your skill is apparent so no worries and plenty of time in the contest to initiate the fix. GOOD LUCK.

Do you think the Wooden planks are hovering over the heart? The "drop shadow" effect is creating distance instead of closeness (like the shadows of the screw heads, which appear close to the "planks". Not a necessary fix, just a nit pic. Could be my eyes. Also the fact I made chicken soup yesterday and didn't have any celery and I've been weird all day. hehehe

Author, making the background (plaid) is pretty easy peasy, just draw one long thin rectangle and repeat the hell out of it spacing the apart. then merge the line pattern, repeat and then rotate 90 degrees and place on top with your choice of filter to create the Plaid. The sea turtle label can be made with a simple drawn shape with text. You have two days so it won't be that big of a stretch. Turtle Butter? EWWWW.. hehehe. hope you have time to fix this.. it's a neat idea

Super fun image... you know author, the ship could be even larger. Only if you want too. I just love all the details (the strings are marvelous).
As a print, the design is fine, but if you enlarged the Ship/vehicle it would be much easier to see. Then again my eye sight is kind of wonky,hehehe.. great job. Lovely use of your own photos

Do you think if you used puppet warp (GENTLY) on one of the turtles? Just change the neck angle slightly and have the flippers in different positions. They really do look like copies of themselves. Not a bad thing, but if you added some tension/diversity to their construction, they'd look like two separate beasts instead of twins. Great chop no matter what. Good luck.

Balloon strands are a nightmare, it looks great and I'm sure the print would be fine, it's just that when you have voters that can see minute detail, it can bite you in the rump It's a really great chop, just nickpicking LOL good luck

So neato! Just a tiny nit pick (and it's a real bear to fix.. the strands are thick white yarn while the cords on the balloons are super thin black thread. It might be to hard/tedious to fix, but if the strands matched the ones on the original balloon photo it would get ride of the heavy thickness of the white. (very visible in high res, which people are going to do to see the kitten) be leery of the half circle remnants that are shooting off the balloons as well, not sure if they have a purpose. Overall great idea
