Very clever use of source author, very nice work and idea

For a shaky hand (in my case very bad eyesight) you can expand an image to really see the edge of an item and cutting gets easier, slower, but easier.. I'm not familiar with the program you are using so I won't be help with tools... (your use of a white sheet in your own pictures is brilliant, it makes it much easier to cut an object out) if edges get bumpy you can go in with a blur brush and rub the edges to even them out..

Practice Practice Practice and experiment like crazy.. we all start somewhere and your abilities will improve in time.. this chop is a great start

If you distorted the blue striped man on purpose, please explain.. he really takes over the focus due to the obvious distortion/malformation..his butt is a dead give away.. IMHO it would be better to put him back or at least correct the distortion.. if it was your intent to make him more Creature then Human I would understand, but it takes away from the wonderful work you did on the Referee... Good LUCK (High Res would be helpful to see the work closer)

Author.. if you put a gaussian disk in faded black underneath the bowl and burn it's bottom edge it will help with grounding the bowl .. another disk under the isolated fruit will help as well (IMHO), Overall, FANTASTIC image! Good luck
