This is really nice. I especially like the tree bark. But it isn't quite finished yet. The contest description says to illustrate the holiday "along with the month it falls in". Whip up an April calendar and slap it underneath your illustration and viola, done! GL

At first I thought that the colored version would have been better, but I was wrong. Great picture author, I also think that a different light would have improved it a lot, but it's still a high quality image. Good luck.

Actually, for shooting B&W, I prefer harsh sun, it gives a bit more contrast...hence the authors choice for mono here..

Our safety is supposed to rank first. This is a potentially dangerous situation and that person walking with bags and all seems complacent about what can and does happen.
Police should have the area sealed and even from where you took the shot is risky.
