Well I'm not sure if that shadow is weird enough for the contest, but I thought it looked like a string, not like a wire where it originated from.
To me this fits the theme because it looks like art but it's not. If you look closely you will see what this is. So in a way it's a lie, that will make you realize the truth. In this case how awesome our world is around us if we stop and take a moment to notice. Well I tired.
This was taken at a aquarium store in Sacramento. I asked for permission first of course. I did not use flash, as it bothers the fish, not to mention you get the reflection of it in the glass. I chose this angle because of the reflection, thought it looked cool.
So this picture orphan to me because of the traffic and the building on the left. But what I really liked about this moment was the last minutes of the sun shining on the city.
