The Galah are monomorphic. Both male and female look the same in feather colouring. Although if you look closely at their eyes you are able to determine their sex. Males have black eye colour while females have a pinkish deep red eye colour

Chickenless Chicken Hawk

I watched this Collared Sparrowhawk (aka Chicken Hawk) catch a small bird. Before it had time to gobble down it's prey a much larger Brown Kite came and stole it's catch. All he was left with were the feathers in it's talons and one feather in it mouth.

Anyone Seen My Jockey?

Not only did this horse lose his jockey, he lost the race for coming home without him. He then kept us entertained for ages while they tried to catch him - he jumped the rails and went back to the stables.
