Nice idea, I'd like to see the bird's head colour matched to the canopic jar though. Even just a quick replace colour job might create a good effect.
(5 years and 2620 days ago)Very good. For a moment there I thought this image had been entered into this contest by mistake and was in fact a 3D character... Wouldn't look out of place in a Pixar film.
(5 years and 2620 days ago)Nice concept and lighting is especially well done.
(5 years and 2620 days ago)That is truly disturbing... congratulations on ensuring that I do not sleep tonight...
(5 years and 3037 days ago)Kind of terrifying in an 'oh god make it die' sort of way, but very good...
(5 years and 3070 days ago)This is how I like to get my babies clean... (see I am allowed to say that and it is definitely not creepy because I in fact do not have children, so it's fine and not weird at all...)
(5 years and 3071 days ago)Nice idea but I would maybe suggest putting something to obscure the fade on the hands and lower body, maybe some simple sparkles or shiny bits, as if the child has just appeared if by magic. Also, a bit trivial, but scaling down some of the duplicate butterflies ever so slightly might make it immediately less obvious that they are identical.
(5 years and 3071 days ago)Maybe it's just me but the balloon feels a little low compared to the water... I can foresee an imminent and dramatic crash on the horizon...
(5 years and 3071 days ago)Oh and on the subject of the balloon and basket being 'out of proportion' I think it probably looks better this way than if they were not scaled down to the baby. Now do feel free to ignore this if it becomes pretentious but a full size basket would give the idea that it was being seen by an adult and that the baby was out of place or intruding for comic effect. Whereas a smaller basket kind of gives the impression that it is being seen by the child, in its own world, and that the basket is specifically for it, not adults. I warned you it would become pretentious...
Argh... make it die, burn it, burn it. Sorry, nice manipulation, it just scares the hell out of me. I'd perhaps suggest adding a few smaller bubbles in there dotted around the place, only without faces. Maybe it sounds odd but to me that would hint at the idea that the whole scary face thing only develops as the bubbles 'grow'.
(5 years and 3071 days ago)Depends if you are going more for characterisation or realism of course but I think smoothing out the bridge of the nose could improve this a litte. As it is it feels a little flat and rigid. Rathering worryingly this reminds me of someone I know...
(5 years and 3071 days ago)This hurts my brain...
(5 years and 3071 days ago)I actually quite like the fact that the teeth are few and far between and dirtier than a chain smoking, coffee guzzling... well you get the point. It makes it feel like it's old...
(5 years and 3071 days ago)I don't know why this works... it just does...
