Don't get me wrong author, the creature looks well inside, but not like a solid object inside water, I still can't figure out why? The container looks stunningly superb! Excellent job on the container & the SBS.

Above all just ignore me & enjoy a job well done.

Excellent tweaking author! Perspective looks much better and the darkening of the shadow adds more drama! The creature looks fine to me, definitely looks inside the container.

Wonderful execution, but there's something about it that I can't get to believe it's "inside" the container. Might be the perspective or the non-blurriness of the creature behind water. Good luck

This entry is very nice, original and well done.
You can improove it by adding a better ( more dark and long) shadow at the base of the cylinder.

The rendering is very nice but there is a little problem with the perspective of the cylinder. The ellipses should be a little flatter at the top and get more rounded as you go further below eye level. As I said the rendering is good, if you could tweak the perspective IMO it would make it even better.

Good job on the cat's new position & tones. Try playing around with HSB and/or Levels to get to that Goldilocks point. The image is very well done by the way. Good luck once again author.

@Author A few things:
The cat's posture is a bit weird w.r.t. the contour of the chimney. Some puppet warp might help to align that front paw resting "mid-air". The tones are tad warm & saturated a bit more that the environment. Shadows are present but the whole body of the cat is equally lit. Try burning some of that or painting with a soft brush.

Poor overall blending - It just looks like 4 animal parts stuck together. This would be SO much stronger if you adjusted the colors to better represent one animal...

The shadow isn't exactly coming from the animal's feet (some are more to the left/right than the own foot). I think it's a little too strong as well. Good luck.

Maybe a bit of color adjustment to make the mask blend better with the image, or make the dress match the mask...

Mask does not blend well with the image. It's left side should be darker. Light source is behind it, try experimenting with Satin.

I cant really tell what the artist on the image is using to draw/color with. There doesnt seem to be color on the tip of it either. Also I think If you make the edge of the pen/brush a little sharper it will come out better. Love the choice of background, that really fits wth the image. good luck

You're most welcome, author! Your colorful entry embodies what I had in mind, but doesn't really look much like a kaleidoscope, rather just a colorful pattern flipped and and then "echoed."

This would probably make a wonderful kaleidoscopic entry, I suggest you try one of the tutorials in the contest description, using this as your starting image...
