I think this is neat actually. Colors and all. I like best that it curves.

I agree with Alan. there is no sharp area of focus, basically creating a DOF, so this photo has no DOF. (Depth of Field)

I also like the idea, nice and simple. However I think that you should probably add a little more saturation and vibrance to make the image more lively.

colours are nice -- there is no area of sharp focus -- which I thnk detracts from the image -- an area with sharp focus would maybe hold the eye with some interest.

It would be easy to add differences to the trees because it is a texture. Just use the cloning stamp to copy a section and draw in extra leaves giving each one a different shape.

It's a shame you've kept the trees 'cloned' and not made and differences to them individually as the rest of it seems quite well put together...

Great idea, and perfect for HDR, but it's lacking in detail and depth. Also too much foreground and cropped at the top. If you can, try a re-shoot.

One of the main ideas with HDR is that it prevents blown out hightlight could use a little less brightness therefore.

It's a unique entry but the colors are really blown own. I would try to play around with curves with it. And crop out the sky. It's really distracting.

try curving the necklace part so it fits around her neck and use different shades of green

Hmm... cracks make her skin look flat... maybe lowering the opacity of the texture you get a better result.

thats fine, im just a little surprised then because I still remember a peice of work I made for this site and it was removed because they said I used an illustration.......... Guess the mod was being a bit picky that day!

Nice idea -- the leaves look stuck on without any shape. Try a displacement map and or try different blending modes or combinations of blending modes for the leaf layers.

Nice image -- transition betwween the hair and the face could use some work so the hair is above leaves -- the ear ring on the left is partly behind the leaves and there is a bit of stray green on the other ear ring.(Could be a reflection) Also maybe some other blending modes or combination of blending modes for the leaves would improve the look. Leaves seem a bit heavy over the face

I't kind of hard to see the heart, at first. It also seems just slightly OOF-out of focus. Personally, I think re-shooting with a different exposure setting would be your best option and if you have a tripod, it would come in handy. I'll hold my vote.
