In the thumbnail.. it looks like the tail is a HUGE RUMP.. lol.. you might want to add just a tad bit of contrast so you can see the REAL back hips.. (Or go ahead and make the huge butt.. it would be hysterical) (excellent all around!!!)

Author, there are 5 fingers showing on the left hand...the thumb would be on the inside & not visible.

Title says it all ... Statue on a Pier ...so (IMO) it would look out of place on the water ... but I still count 6 fingers on the left hand (actually it is 5 fingers with the thumb out of sight but the eye sees, what the eyes wants to see and just knowing the thumb is there makes it 6)!

Now ... all that aside, it is a wonderful image and you have done amazing things with the source! Bravo!

Wow, I sure miss sculling! Author, your idea and painting are good (minus that extra finger), however unless the man is using a rowing machine, propped up on that boardwalk, then he's really out of place. A sculler who IS using those oars (usually 9 1/2' - 10' long), would be in/on the water! Also, the position of his right hand isn't quite correct, it would not be gripping the end of the oar.
