I have a mixed reaction to this picture. On the one hand I like the set up and subject but the patterning on the hi-res image detracts from the image so much that I cannot enjoy it.

For my education and future submissions, where does it say panoramas are not allowed? I can only find a bit banning stitching.

I agree with friiskiwi but then I'm biased having had a shot removed because it wasn't actually snowing at the moment of the shot. (I don't disagree with the mod for doing this as long as there is consistency)

Dramatic weather is relative to where you are and what is the norm for that area so I think there has to be some latitude for this competition and I for one will put aside my personal experiences and judge the photos in their own right.
For the Med this looks pretty rough to me but it is the composition that makes it dramatic it in eyes and therefore a worthy entry.

This looks yummy but photographically I am distracted by the plate and nutcrackers to the left, the chair arm at the top and the person.

Good subject but I would have preferred the photo if it had been more upright (it leans to the right) and the top left tower hadn't been cut off.

great idea for a shot, shame that there isn't enough sharp focus on the boots whilst having enough focus on the far background (with the truck) to be distracting.
