The light reflection on the side of the waistcoat, and the "radioactive" light spot on the boot are a bit too high contrast (Less is More!), but still a welcome visual change from all the people who think light shines a very short distance, and stops, with massive dark shadows over dominating their entries...

This is a wonderful characterization, and the perspective skew, while a bit over-exaggerated, helps make the image very attention grabbing.

The highlights on both sides of the clothing are a bit too high-contrast, they throw off such a strong glow that it is like a huge spotlight is aimed on him from an extremely close distance, or he is radioactive...lol! If you reduce that "glare," it will improve the overall presentation.

not to bad, good sbs also, suggestion though, you may want to change the guy's feet around as they appear to be backwards. and lose the signature as it is frowned upon here. but nice work and keep it up.

This is lovely. The only distracting part is the white in the eyes. Being of stone, the white is too bright and distracting from an otherwise truly enchanting image.

I agree with you about the Hi-Res version not always being necessary in order to preserve the visual illusion created. Best of success to you!

I like the way you changed the expressions on the sheeps faces. The black sheep didn't look mad to me until MossyB pointed it out. He just looks really serious to me. And the white sheep seem a bit intimidated, which i guess is the point. Really nice painted background, too! I like it. GL

Really nice painting skills! The problem that I see is that the original source has such a shallow depth of field. So the background of your painting is more in focus with a higher depth of field. You might be able to fix this with a gradient lens blur for the background, but I couldn't be sure without seeing it. Good luck!
