The Kodak No. 2 Folding Autographic Brownie was a folding camera for the type 120 Autographic film. More than half a million models were made between 1915 and 1926, with various design tweaks made along the way. This model has apparently lived well
(5 years and 678 days ago)1908 WOW .....100 years old. Was this a gift to you from your parents ? Love the grunge texture, the "in your face" treatment of the subject....a grand macro.
(5 years and 680 days ago)Congrats Heathcliffe
(5 years and 683 days ago)Congrats for winning
(5 years and 683 days ago)Congrats Heathcliffe, nice old Nortons
(5 years and 683 days ago)Another great rendition of colours in glasses and reflections. Super.
(5 years and 686 days ago)Lovely - great colour, great symmetery in the composition - love the reflections.
(5 years and 686 days ago)Great arrangement but sadly the bananas are a little 'blown'.
(5 years and 686 days ago)Nice colors and contrast. Beautiful reflection. However a little bit overexposed on the yellow
(5 years and 687 days ago)High contrast between raisins and bananas. Hence the blown bananas. Overexposed...
(5 years and 687 days ago)YAyayaya...congratulations
(5 years and 690 days ago)Ahhh yes, I see, well then why didn't you as the frame is not filled? But this is really a good sharp image and you could have come in closer.....if that was what you were gunning for, don't you think? Did you know you can eat rose petals? These are delicious looking and I remember reading somewhere that you can wrap butter in rose petals and serve it that way (I'm sure you really wanted to know all this....sorry)
(5 years and 692 days ago)Nice, but why did you clip off the petals?
(5 years and 692 days ago)Really nice shot and the use of slow shutterspeed makes this one
(5 years and 699 days ago)Great shot. Love the smooth milky water that contrasts well with the details on the bridge which is a lovely warm colour.
(5 years and 699 days ago)I like this and get the idiom. The basket are the blue cartons....in a non English speaking country they are called baskets. Good one.
(5 years and 700 days ago)lovely shot WD ! ...did you use long exposure to get that smooth effect on the waters' surface? ...would've scored higher if there were someone/thing about to actually CROSS the bridge!
(5 years and 703 days ago)would've scored higher if there were a basket involved!
(5 years and 703 days ago)lovely picture, however I think this is a cheetah, not a leopard!... unless he HAS changed his spots?!
(5 years and 703 days ago)That's a Cheetah, but it does have spots
(5 years and 704 days ago)I bet you are kicking yourself for not putting this into stained glass contest...hope you have more, this is wonderful.
(5 years and 705 days ago)...and now they have a stained glass contest up...if you have more of these shots you could consider entering one. I like the colour juxtaposed against b/w. Good eyes.
(5 years and 708 days ago)Gorgeous, just gorgeous I really like this, it is simple (well not that simple) , clear, sharp, and those lanterns glowing warm ROCK. Top marks.
(5 years and 708 days ago)Another clear crisp image. Great colour palette. Lovely lines and shapes.
(5 years and 708 days ago)Great shapes and lines and beautifully horizontal. Super shot.
(5 years and 708 days ago)Lovely clear lines and shapes. I like this a lot.
(5 years and 708 days ago)Clear, sharp, interesting, technical aspects well done. I'm drawn to this.
(5 years and 713 days ago)Cool shot but you do have noise and tilt on this image.
(5 years and 713 days ago)Well good inside photo of this cathedral, such a lot to take in here
(5 years and 715 days ago)Interesting photo of the inside of this cathedral, good detail in this
(5 years and 715 days ago)I like this a lot. The subject is clear and there are no incidental distractions. I keep thinking would it improve with a great depth of field but probably not. The shining scoop and the jar are central and sharp. The mind does the rest - it knows what we are looking at.
(5 years and 716 days ago)I love this image. Still, and peaceful. Plenty of interest in the shot. Your eyes keep wandering up and down the lines of boats. So much detail here to feast on. I also like the 'gentle' colours of the image. Excellent.
(5 years and 719 days ago)How in the heck did you get that clock to stick out like that? Did you use a magic formula other than click "automatic"? Love it.
(5 years and 720 days ago)Crystal clear, sharp and inspirational image. Good eyes for seeing this and good technical handling as well with good details showing through all the planes of the photograph. Top notch.
(5 years and 720 days ago)3.60 Euros for 200 grams??? Are you living in a real world? Maybe I am living in a dream world. Never mind. I love your post for this is a scene one would see in an open market and I find it very enticing. You posted this full frame without many disturbing other pieces of information...just nuts sin sal or naturalemente....que bueno. The photograph is nice and sharp in dead center where you want us to look, the colour saturation is natural and your contrast is smack on the money. YUM
(5 years and 721 days ago)The unedited version has to be posted in the SBS.
(5 years and 721 days ago)Congrats Heathcliffe, very nice
(5 years and 724 days ago)Well done for winning
(5 years and 725 days ago)Congrats on #2 and #1 as well. YAYA
(5 years and 725 days ago)Congrats on this win, I liked this entry a lot.
(5 years and 725 days ago)Congrats on this win, I liked this entry a lot.
(5 years and 725 days ago)A lovely posed photo that warms our hearts. You zoomed in and thereby a lot of noise is showing. I do love the eye connection.
(5 years and 727 days ago)Good eye, good shot, exciting and effervescent! Top marks.
(5 years and 727 days ago)really like the artistic handling of blow out....you used it to your advantage and it works...well done.
(5 years and 727 days ago)Beautiful lightning!
(5 years and 728 days ago)Ewwww a good photo and a scary photo of impending doom (flood). You have a lot going on in this shot and you caught our attention. The high tide can be seen, the sand bags, the concern of the coast guards and a photo op for one of them. I like this in b/w rendition because colour would have distracted from the intensity of emotion. Technically sharp, nicely composed and full of story. Love it.
(5 years and 730 days ago)What is nice about this black and white image is that you caught many patterns that delight us visually. However, the emotive aspect, the fact that the police are doing zilch except walking weakens the story element. Technically it is nice and sharp ...but lacking in OH WOW.
(5 years and 730 days ago)Congrats again for winning
(5 years and 732 days ago)Yes well done for all these.
(5 years and 732 days ago)Congrats again Heathcliffe, nice shot
