(5 years and 3026 days ago)beautiful, well done.
(5 years and 3027 days ago)wonderful photo. You are why I did not enter my photo in this contest. It will be hard to beat. Well done.
(5 years and 3028 days ago)Great moody photo.
(5 years and 3028 days ago)The HDR has introduced a grayish blob in the sky - most likely where the blown highlights (ie lack of detail) were
(5 years and 3031 days ago)Nice HDR
(5 years and 3032 days ago)This is cute.. i can imagine this being part of a western commic scene where the bankrobbers are approaching town on there horses and this little todler indian girl sees them riding in from a distance. haha sorry thats the story came to my mind when i saw this piece.
(5 years and 3033 days ago)Very nice shot... the seaweed (or whatever) in the foreground adds a lot. Almost looks like a dragon could come flying through.
(5 years and 3033 days ago)I bet!! Very lucky indeed!! Great shot!
(5 years and 3035 days ago)Awesome shot... so you live on Isle of Man?
(5 years and 3035 days ago)The bike is too far forward in the picture plane (think Rule of Thirds), with too much dead space behind it.
(5 years and 3035 days ago)Wonderful shot ! Good luck author !
(5 years and 3035 days ago)very moody photo, well done.
(5 years and 3035 days ago)What a fascinating story behind the photo!
(5 years and 3035 days ago)I find most fascinating, the footnote to the story.
"Coincidently since the building of the Tower of Refuge and up till the present day no ships have founded on the rocks..."
better with this crop
(5 years and 3037 days ago)I do not see the birds, but I see a lot of thinking and getting the shapes in place.... Good work....! Good luck for sure.

Your image doesn't need to be enormous, anything between 2.5mg and 3.5mg is plenty big enough.
Good luck
Stunning colors and lighting - the sky is awesome! My fav.
(5 years and 3041 days ago)that does look a little more natural.
(5 years and 3054 days ago)Nice work, green might just be a little over-saturated.
(5 years and 3054 days ago)You are welcome, this is a much better photograph.
(5 years and 3054 days ago)Nice composition. The lines lead to the ocean, but the rocks bring the eye back to the bottom to travel up again...Good job!
(5 years and 3055 days ago)A very busy photograph, too many lines not really leading anywhere. The mast in the front (right) is very distracting, and cutting the tops off the roofs doesn't help.I'm not trying to be negative, but this location has so much going for it, a different angle and it could have been a winner.
(5 years and 3055 days ago)Beautiful, and the image is so strong, that you tend to overlook the horizon.
(5 years and 3055 days ago)The leading lines are VERY direct here! It's a nice composition, with the positioning of the light house really well thought out, but you've managed to angle the horizon to bisect the picture plane at almost the exact middle...This would have been much stronger if you'd been able to hold your camera higher (my husband actually has a step ladder in his trunk for this type of thing), so that the horizon line would be a bit lower...Rule of Thirds, don't 'cha know...
(5 years and 3055 days ago)Nice Job Congrats
(5 years and 3059 days ago)Congrats, wonderful emotional photo.

(5 years and 3065 days ago)best luck
my fav
A very effective way to make use of natural lighting and the cloudy day. The weather suits well with the "lost" feeling. The red flowers capture and direct the main focus the the main tomb stone - great work
(5 years and 3067 days ago)Excellent photo! Great lighting, good background info, and most of all, I like the perspective from near ground level. Simply beautiful work!
(5 years and 3067 days ago)Lovely
(5 years and 3067 days ago)Lovely photo
(5 years and 3067 days ago)Beautiful focus, color and composition. I can almost hear the water burbling...
(5 years and 3067 days ago)Nice clarity, the clouds really add to the composition.
(5 years and 3068 days ago)It's better now, the base of the monument can be seen. Gives it better depth and mood. Nice improvement!
(5 years and 3069 days ago)It's terribly dark, the monument is hard to make out.
(5 years and 3070 days ago)Reminds me on Shutter Island . Good luck!
(5 years and 3071 days ago)I want those aroun d my front door
