Congrats, enblanco!
(5 years and 2972 days ago)Congrats, George!
(5 years and 2972 days ago)Me, too! Congrats on first with a beautiful entry. And thank you, too, for showing budding artists out there how an art grid works. I know that your ability is way beyond an art grid and taking the time to do it this way was very generous of you. (Now go make a tutorial, "How to Use an Art Grid".)
(5 years and 2976 days ago)This is just fantastic! How long did you work on this? Must have taken you ages. You were right about the shoes. Nobody goes into battle with open toed shoes.
(5 years and 2977 days ago)Oh my! (fans herself briskly) Seriously, this is so well done. I especially like the light red on the finger reflecting the light from the red lace. That is a nice detail. Did you "see" this (in your imagination) or did you have a model?
(5 years and 2978 days ago)For me, this kind of entry is equivalent to setting up an easel and painting in a realistic way. Like Slushy said, using an art grid is just another tool to accomplish the goal of realism. I think this is a beautiful example of using an art grid to paint what you see.
(5 years and 2987 days ago)Having said that, I like the addition of the boats, but (and this is just a personal preference) I think I would try making the sky and water a bit darker to help make the lights pop. This is a wonderful entry.
Oh too funny. That dot was the only one I saw. lol I like this much, much better now. Gonna tuck it into my favs.
(5 years and 2989 days ago)What an interesting blend of sources. Even tho a SBS isn't required, I'd love to see how you put these four sources together. How on earth did you look at a forest scene and say to yourself, "Hmmm, this would make good scar material."? lol Good job!
(5 years and 2989 days ago)I remember these! What a great idea and well done, too.
(5 years and 2989 days ago)Hmm, honestly, I liked the unenhanced one better. I'd like it even more without the dot. But its your entry and if you like it, that's all that's really important.
(5 years and 2989 days ago)Oh wow! You do this sort of thing for a living, don't you? I'm gonna be kinda picky here and suggest you smudge the center white dot in the background and also smudge the gradient next to the top of the 4th brace on the right. This is a wonderful and clever use of the source. Well done!
(5 years and 2989 days ago)Congrats, derdevil!
(5 years and 2991 days ago)Congrats, Katka!
(5 years and 2991 days ago)Right. I won't be strolling along this beach any time soon. *shudder* Adding that little bit of claw reflection in the water was a nice touch.
(5 years and 2996 days ago)Oh man, what a nasty little critter this would be! Excellent blend and imagination.
(5 years and 2996 days ago)Oh how beautiful! This is like a cross between Peter Max and (Monty Python artist) Terry Gilliam.
(5 years and 2996 days ago)Awww, its adorable. I wouldn't mind having one of these running around if it ate mice. This is an excellent blending job. Really well done!
(5 years and 2997 days ago)Wouldn't surprise me if they actually found something like this. I really like that you chose to do a sea creature. The blurring of the tail for depth is a great touch.
(5 years and 2997 days ago)Roon, this is amazing!
(5 years and 3007 days ago)Congrats, kek!
(5 years and 3007 days ago)Congrats on third place. This is sooo cute, especially the baby gnome.
(5 years and 3014 days ago)Congrats! She's beautiful in a scary kind of way.
(5 years and 3014 days ago)Congrats! Well done entry and it makes me smile.
(5 years and 3014 days ago)Congrats! I especially like the light shine off of the beaks. That was a nice touch.
(5 years and 3014 days ago)Congrats, Robert! Wonderful entry!
(5 years and 3014 days ago)Of all his stock, this one is my favorite. I could just never figure out what to do with her. You did and you did it beautifully. Adding it to my favs. If I could add it twice, I would.
(5 years and 3023 days ago)Congrats on first! What a clever background and the bird is wonderful.
(5 years and 3024 days ago)Congrats, Slushy!
(5 years and 3028 days ago)Congrats on 3rd, MrHack. This entry made me smile.
(5 years and 3028 days ago)Congrats on 2nd, Pearlie. This is a beautiful entry!
(5 years and 3028 days ago)Congrats on 2nd, Mikael. I really like this entry.
(5 years and 3028 days ago)Congrats, Chroma, on placing 1st with a very well done entry.
(5 years and 3028 days ago)Congrats, Slushy! I still think this is disturbing, but in a cute way. How do you do that? lol
(5 years and 3028 days ago)This is so much fun to look at!
(5 years and 3029 days ago)Very clever. He can walk it off.
(5 years and 3029 days ago)Congrats on 3rd place, derdevil.
(5 years and 3035 days ago)Congrats on 1st place, Chalty! Beautiful squawk box.
(5 years and 3035 days ago)Congrats on 2nd, Nator!
(5 years and 3035 days ago)This is so pretty! That little bit of bling on the beak was just the right touch. Well done!
(5 years and 3036 days ago)What everyone said above. This is wonderful. Adding it to my favs. You programed it so it wouldn't bark, right?
(5 years and 3038 days ago)This is disturbing. I like it! I think the bow could use a little more work, tho. I suggest cropping it a bit more and feathering the edge.
(5 years and 3039 days ago)Congrats, Artgirl. Love how you made the background.
(5 years and 3042 days ago)Congrats on second place.
(5 years and 3042 days ago)Congrats, Artgirl. So spooky looking.
(5 years and 3042 days ago)Congrats on second, Slushy. This made me want to head on down to the river.
(5 years and 3042 days ago)Congrats! This is so cute.
(5 years and 3042 days ago)Congrats on second! Love the gears in the background.
(5 years and 3042 days ago)If I were the model, I would have this hanging on my wall. This is terrific!
(5 years and 3043 days ago)Congrats, lolu! I love looking at this.
(5 years and 3056 days ago)Congrats on first place, bcabilan!
