Okay author, you got me... What exactly is this? I like it, I'm just not sure what it is? An impossible to pick up Tea Kettle? Or does it have something to do with Japanese Anime (considering the title). No matter really.. it's pretty nifty.. the Mystery is perplexing, but that is part of the fun as well. Oh poop, I really would like to know though, a little attention to the sharpness of the bottom edge of the 'pot" might be useful, it's a very sharp cut (Blurring or burning etc...only a suggestion)the beauty of the other side really is excellent, and I kind of want the other side to match hehehe GOOD LUCK

Nice job, author. Notice how bright the wood branch is to the right of the 'clock'...maybe try and brighten the clock right next to that bright spot with a soft edge and follow through that highlight area.

LOL...now that all that stuff is out of the way, I'd like to point out that the light source is from the upper right, so the shadow is completely opposite the light source.

MUCH improved, more visually consistent now, which makes for a more enjoyable appreciation of the piece.
Author, you will find that pure black, like pure white, is seldom an effective "arty kinda thing," because being extremes, they tend to dominate an image, so *in general*, you want to have them visually consistent to fit the visual dominance they will exert, which the shadow now effectively does.

Author, the shadow is better, but no shadow is 100% black. If you lower the shadow opacity you could have something here. GL.

The black shadows are obviously pasted on, they're bigger than the surface they're on, and they don't correspond to the shape of the gate.

The shadow on the ground does not correspond to the shadow on the sides of the aquaduct arch, and it is too light in color. Too visually disconcerting.
Really interesting concept. Just need to tighten the execution a bit.

it almost looks as if the baby is wearing a bracelet. The silver part should have come farther out because it looks like it is cut off. Nice idea though!

yep,the changes you have made are an improvement. maybe next time explore putting a little white dot in the eyes( the coloured blue part) to show light reflection . However that is just a personal thing. I have no idea who the other posters are talking of but i love your creation .. GL

Geico has three mascots: 1. The Caveman, the Gecko and the beedy little eyes that sit on top of the money that you "theoretically" could be saving if you switched to them and this picture reminded me of that almost instantly.
