JannaR: Aw geez loweeze... one that can make me truly believe what he's saying....who can make me laugh a REAL laugh. One whose smile reaches his eyes, and when he makes a mistake he owns it and moves on. One with equal amounts of kindness, and patience....but yet will stand up for what he believes is right. A man who is smart, but still admits he can still learn a thing or two. One who can express himself without swearing every other word, and yet still use wit & sarcasm proficiently. And finally, one who can carry on a decent conversation, and does not have sex on his list of favorite pastimes or hobbies.

JannaR: Realism. If it looks as though it's a photo of something... If it makes me wonder if it 'could really happen' or I have to go through the sources to see what HAS been done. It ranks high with me. I like the idea of SBS, but I don't score on that. It's nice that it's there, but some people are better at explaining things than others. Also, I'm a stickler on CORRECT lighting/shadowing (for chops).
When it comes to photography, subject balance, composition(B&W or color) and focus are what I go for. I don't want to wonder what the actual subject is. I want the photo to make me want it for a desktop wallpaper. They say, 'A picture is worth a thousand words'. But if it says just one to me, I like it.
