I like the little girl but I think the swan still needs improvement...I think you have done a fantastic job on this piece ..with the exception of the swan x

@danlundberg these are animals that typically live in the arctic, and they are obviously stuck in some dessert, it makes sense.... without water there would be no snow or ice... Good job author

I like it, although I do not like the swan, you took your time on the whole picture but the swan seems sort of sloppy ... you should have left source image and had girl watching swan.... I do how ever think the work itself is very nice and very well done, especially adding colour to a black and white photo... Good luck Author

is your photo big enough?? I had the same issue I couldn't up load high res, it turned it was because my picture wasn't big enough.. entries need to be greater then 600 pixels wide to upload a high res.. so just go and check your image size...gl

I do, it is a good concept, maybe add some fog to add to the mood .. and a shadow.. or change the opacity and make him slightly see through.. he looks kind of blocky like that.. but good job :P

I think this is well done, although the pine tree doesn't match the elephant, it looks very out of habitat.. you should replace the pine tree with something more fitting GL :P

like the author said you cannot stage babies.. why do you think modeling companies and photographers typically don't use babies between 8months an 2 .. they don't have the comprehension to stay where they are told or to look at the camera or to hold a specific pose I mean they can't even stay still for a picture .. taking a perfect picture of a baby is next to impossible and when it happens it is usually by accident.. sooo I am sure this is not staged

actually in the guidelines artistic nudity is allowed... but it depends on the mod.. evil nipples (roll eyes)

umm I don't get this

IMO this isn't even funny... babies have involuntary movements and have nooooooo understanding of anything.. now had it been a 2 year old giving the finger it would be hilarious given they have some concept and obviously would have learned it ..

although I will add... if this is a random "off guard" shot.. who the heck leaves their baby in a patio Chair .....

how does this look staged??? you can't "stage" a baby you humor them till you get the right shot... someone could of made a random noise or called his name and he'd look and make a face like that... I think it's a good job .
