this doesn't look like moss or lichen and it does look like a pine tree--and I'm not an expert at either, but because there is question about it, I won't vote.

There are over 12,000 known species of moss, are you saying that you can identify every species just by looking at a picture of it online? Perhaps you should tell us what it is before saying what it is not.
