i think what is confusing people is that the girl is tooooo 3d so it just looks like she is laying on the book. It doesn't look like the book would close flat. It is a nice image though.

it is strange yes. But for it to stand out the images used to to work together in someway. You could have the guy standing on the chair, the girl amoungst the muchrooms, just little things like that. At the moment it just looks like alot of images stuck on there. Goodluck, its on the right track.

i think its the background. While it is pale in colour i think it might be a tiny bit distracting. First thing i looked at was the butterfly then the shadowing work. However I like it anyway but you have a week to figure out if you want to change anything anyway.

you still can't use the planet or the stars as these a re pre manipulated sources. We have all made that mistake with sxc... but unfortunately they can't be used and yes we all know that they are there for stock purposes, but you might need to find a tutorial on how to make the stars and get some brush sets to make the planets. The spaceship should be ok though

i see nothing wrong with this entry, there is plenty made from the source. The only things that aren't are the water and his head and fins... Alot of work has obviously gone into this when it comes to fine details, i think its a good image, wish i could make something like this myself but alas..... i am still learning goodluck author

i would have been more impressed if you learnt the tutorial then made something you could call your own design. To me this is just copying someones art. Tutorials are only there to teach, not to take credit for.
