Very nice, but personally, I think I'd blur/feather (or whatever) the hell out of the edges of the globe so it looked more like she's holding a mass of energy she created instead of some kind of glass globe any of us could carry.

I really like this image. I have to agree with the other comment, the hand is still funny. It is very blurred and the rest of her is very crisp. I would work on giving her some blur first and then work on blending the hand with the globe. Good luck

Edit: Looks better now, but the hand holding the globe still needs help.

Try selecting the area outside the figure, expanding the selection by a pixel or two, and clearing. That should get rid of the white line around the figure. Feathering the selection by one pixel should help too. Otherwise it's a good image.

Still pixelated. Doesn't look like you used the full resolution of the contest image. Your new cat is distorted...when resizing, hold down the shift key for correct proportions.

If you enlarge the source image in 10% increments it will reduce the pixelation

Author, this is a great idea, but a very pixelated low resolution image. You have plenty of time to replace it with a higher resolution revision.

Listen to Spaceranger and you'll have a better image. Here's my 2 cents: Lose the branch on the ground...it looks flat & phony, the resolution is too low, and the color doesn't match the rest of the wood. I'll be looking forward to the improved version.

The mask work is a bit rough especially on the figure and her gown. The branch should better match the color of the tree and also needs edges cleaned up. The coloring of the gown is off in the middle covering part of her right arm and showing a hard edge of two different values of the green. A little clean up would improve the image which is a very nice concept.
