the 'high' lighting spots in the shot do not work with the dark effect. if it is dark, it is usually deep, and that means that you would not have these spots.

I can't decide if this is just too stupid, or too funny. I'll go with funny & hope that's what you intended.

Simple isn't necessarily a bad thing. There's quite a bit of residual image in the silhouette, try the magic wand to select the white and then go to selection and choose similar to remove most of the white. ( you may have to adjust the strength of the wand and also need to touch up the tree trunk but that won't be difficult.) The rock base is too soft, try to make it look like it's in there with the grass. That foreground "ridge" looks odd but maybe that's what you wanted.

The silhouette isn't very clean, there's quite a bit of white in the tree and the edges go from soft to hard with a lot of residual image pieces. If you use the magic wand, select the white, then go to selection and choose similar and click. Most all of the white will be gone but you may have to touch up the tree trunk a little and refine the shape a bit.. Sticking the tree in the water doesn't make this a surreal image just a tree out of place. The tree color doesn't match the background, it needs more blue.

You left some white space between the branches. Why would a live tree be in the middle of a river?

It's a little on the CBR'd side, meaning it's almost unrecognizable.

It's a little dark and somewhat noisy. Probably your best idea would be to re-shoot. GL!

Well author it's an interesting chop but it's what some of us refer to as CBR'd (chopped beyond recognition) Reason being that even though the SBS may show how you used the source, the original source is no longer available to recognize. Not against the rules but not really, creatively using the source image.

Yes they certainly have the potential to cause some pretty serious damage, if it was in a tank it was probably fed enough so it wouldn't be to aggressive but still, I would be nervous being in there with them.
