Beautiful composition.
(5 years and 3205 days ago)Awesome shot.
(5 years and 3206 days ago)Nice one - I like thecolours too
(5 years and 3206 days ago)Very nice, great angle & colouring..
(5 years and 3207 days ago)Not really?? That sounds like it's near Let me guess, only walking distance is considered "near".
(5 years and 3207 days ago)Fantastic!
(5 years and 3207 days ago)Nice picture....is this taken near where you live?
(5 years and 3207 days ago)Nice attempt at a difficult tutorial. I can see you put some effort into this and it is a learning process ... that is what tutorials are for, right? I think greymval's suggestion are valid and helpful.
(5 years and 3208 days ago)Lovely photograph
(5 years and 3209 days ago)Really impressive. Well done
(5 years and 3209 days ago)Well it's not entirely your fault, cause the author of the tutorial had some problems with the perspective. That entrace should follow the horizontal lines between the bricks, instead the entire opening in the original is ambiguous, in reality it would make no sense.
(5 years and 3210 days ago)However you should be more carefull at step 6, the second part, where it said that the gaps should match., and the stairs should be from wall to wall.
If you have probs. with proportions, use the final result of the tut., and draw some guide lines over it. Use them to build your entry on top.
Sorry but the walls and steps do not look right, a shame because i like the idea, maybe you could try to correct it
(5 years and 3210 days ago)Great shot. Love the B&W.
(5 years and 3211 days ago)Great angle, nicely framed up!
(5 years and 3211 days ago)Beautiful! This would have scared me out of my mind!
(5 years and 3211 days ago)Very nice! you may want to consider cropping out the lamp post on the right though.
(5 years and 3211 days ago)FANTASTIC!
(5 years and 3212 days ago)The bricks need to be aligned at the corners & the figure on our right should be flipped to match the light source. If you want to follow a tut, at least try to get the basics right.
(5 years and 3212 days ago)Very very nice work author...great colors...gl
(5 years and 3212 days ago)Very nice piece author...lovely mood...gl
(5 years and 3212 days ago)I applaud you my friend. This one is definitely my fav. GL!
Very nice colorization! GL!
(5 years and 3212 days ago)Well well well, the prodigy returns. I had no clue it was you. Well done!
(5 years and 3212 days ago)Cute, I like the minimal use of color, makes the duck's "smile" more prominent.
(5 years and 3212 days ago)Great shot!
(5 years and 3213 days ago)have to agree.
(5 years and 3213 days ago)Yes! - That's where I've seen him - exactly right, Bob! ROFLMAO
(5 years and 3213 days ago)I bet when this guy showered, he used the shampoo to bring his hair up into a point!
Nice job coloring, author - he's got really nice eyes now.

(5 years and 3214 days ago)I like this one, made only with blue & B/W.
(5 years and 3214 days ago)This looks good, but i have no idea what it is.
(5 years and 3214 days ago)Love the vanishing point in this. Great job
(5 years and 3214 days ago)Nice capture
(5 years and 3214 days ago)GORGEOUS!!
(5 years and 3214 days ago)GOOD JOB!
(5 years and 3214 days ago)nice!
(5 years and 3214 days ago)I love his hair... it was like he was combing it and then said.. oh to hell with it.. hehehe
(5 years and 3214 days ago)great idea, and well done for holding the camera steady.
(5 years and 3214 days ago)one thing about the older images, yes..they are hard to colorize..but!!! you could really bring out some more bits of the veil by changing the opacity of your brush when you are painting it in. color the background the color you want it, then paint over the veil with the low opacity and then blur your color in so it softens it.
(5 years and 3214 days ago)You picked awesome colors in this one..i love how it really modernizes her look. maybe play with the skin tones a tiny bit because they are a bit yellow here... but..otherwise.. Good Luck!
...and...her fingernails.
(5 years and 3214 days ago)they are still grey. as is the middle finger on the image. its all very well done, and i agree with CMYK about the choice of photo...its awesome.
to help the white spots in her skin (mostly because of exposure in the original source) try pulling down the exposure and gamma in the settings. see if that helps a little. if you did you colorization on the source, then i don't quite know how to fix that..but...i usually use seperate layers set to "color" blend mode, so i can do adjusting to the main b/w source to help with the shadowing and color adjustments.
very unique!
(5 years and 3214 days ago)i would have loved a focus on the bug, since it's a beautiful specimen.
(5 years and 3214 days ago)You can hear the crackle!
(5 years and 3214 days ago)Awewsome...
(5 years and 3215 days ago)Nice one, but as Drivenslush said, if you soften the edges of the statue it would be better. Also, I noticed that the foot of the statue looks transparent while the rest of the statue is not.
(5 years and 3215 days ago)About the tree in front of the moon, you could make it look more solid, because as it is now it looks like as if a transparent moon is in front of the tree. Even in fog, tree branches look darker inside the disk of the moon.
GL!
author... just a suggestion.. if you passed a very soft BLUR brush around the edges.. you'd get rid of the sharpness of the masking... and duplication the trees to make them a bit more solid would be kinda neat to see.. but it is your vision.. and as always.. IMHO... also (sorry) pay close attention to the angle of the disk the statue is standing on.. you may want to distort the disk so it matches the horizon line (use distort and perspective. just isolate the disk and play with it)...
(5 years and 3216 days ago)ack.. sorry.. I hate being bossy but I really like the concept you have going here and just want to help
gud work author
