I studied your photo in high resolution. It looks better there but there is lens distortion and you were in a cramped spot I'm guessing. See those shoes on the margin line? Our teachers used to tell us that to leave objects on a margin line, half in and half out of the frame causes the viewer's eye to go there and our brains try to complete the picture. With our eyes there, and our brain working trying to complete the photo the interest on the main focal point gets lost and the viewer quickly leaves the photo. Our goal, as photographers is to try to keep the viewer lingering longer on our images. I like the textural quality of this door and oh if only it could talk the stories that it would tell!

Good catch and I love receiving a chuckle from a photo, yours did it for me this day. If you live near here try taking this during another time of day where you will not have shadows on the doors. I like the composition too, it is a steady, well-balanced photograph with natural saturation. Yellow is always associated with happiness and excitement.

Wish you had put up more information on this trap. Is this something that was used by the indigenous peoples or is it still in use. The exposure appears fine with good contrasts showing, it does not look washed out. The clarity you have on the center and that draws us in. Very interesting post.

That green tone is quite surreal and the image is soft, however, I do think it adds to the overall otherworldly feel.

Sources 2 & 3 are renders, and not useable.
5.6. 3D Renders or Illustrations as Source:
Using other people's 3D renders or illustrations (even with permission and no matter in which form they are offered) creates a false impression of your artwork. So 3D renders or illustrations can not be used as sources, unless they are entirely created by yourself. Only acceptable non-illustration brushes and clip art may be used, but you need to mention them as a source too. This is a photograph that enchants the viewer. It is illusionary, and has wonderful and powerful directional light, the impact is strong. Considering you shot this from a moving car you managed to hook a crisp anchor point. Frankly, it has winner written all over it. Top marks.

Spring rain of pollen. I would not have minded to see more details of car as the windshield wipers are cut as is the headlight, both those cuts make me hunger to see more to complete the image. I admire your chutzpah for shooting this and putting it up....I remember a quote that goes something like this "photographs are everywhere, you just have to look" and that is what your upload reminds me of!

You nailed this shot. Your lighting was difficult in this situation but your shutter speed caught the action at its peak. This is shockingly good for story and technical expertise shown. Kudos.

I can see you are trying to think outside of the box in compositional style. For the romantic feel to be caught I would like to see these figures a bit closer. The guillotine cut of her head further detracts. However, the evening shot of the sun going down and the colour palette of subdued hues adds beauty to your upload.

I think this photo, viewed in 100 years will tell a lot about our society. It is educational and tells a story of the sorry state of affairs with society...whether at a hot spot game area or as we travel we see this scene repeating itself everywhere, people no longer talk to each other. Good entry. You have a dust spot on your sensor, it's in the sky, midsection.

I would know your work anywhere from the POV. I agree with photonut's observation that had you included the entire "reflection" of the man it would have been stronger and also it is too bad that the dog is walking away as that takes our eye away from the main focal point. The technical e.ements are really well done.
